Fantastic review. I just got one of these and the output and throw is incredible. Convoy is going to put these high priced flashlight companies out of business!
Здравствуйте Ричард! Your flashlight reviews are the highest quality reviews I have ever seen on RU-vid! Thank you very much! Maybe I will buy this flashlight in the future, if Simon will replace the driver for something more "stable". Your 914th subscriber.
I forgot to mention in my last comment, you always offer the best inputs for improvements. I already own the Convoy 4x18A with a SBT90.2, and would surely purchase the 3X21D if I didn't already own the 3x18A.
4x18a is still a great flashlight with good runtimes and stabilized brightness. I am waiting for it’s driver and thinking if I should put it into 3x21D for stabilized but weaker output.
@@FlashlightTech I'm waiting for this. I really want the 3X21D but not until some mods come out to improve runtime and higher sustainable output. I think I'll get the 4X18A for now.
Congratulations my friend I am your 900th subscriber 😊 great video. I loved testing this light, it is a massive thrower. 👍 and subbed. Great work. Keep it up 🔦 brother
Thanks for the info. I was going to wait until I reviewed this myself to buy for my store, but this is all the measurements I need to make that decision
Hello Richard. I would like you to know I really enjoy your excellent and well done reviews! You are a master of your craft and I surely appreciate your ability to speak English excellently! Danke mein freund!
Super, you are the only one from whom I have seen footage from a drone, it is very useful for understanding the light spot, I would like reviews of bicycle lights to be like this. Good luck to your channel.P.S.If you know, can you tell me the original LEDs or copies, for example, from LB (as often happens with CREE LED)?
Lovely comparison nightshots! I'm seeing a clear difference between this and the 4x18a but to my eyes, atleast from the video, I couldn't make out any difference against the L8. What do you think? Is there a clear difference in person? Also, congrats on 1k sub!
It would have been a fantastic product if it had a regulated driver, so it is of little use because the emission drops too quickly ... for me a sustained emission over time is more important which allows me to always have the same amount of light for several minutes instead of 5000 lumens for a few seconds and then a fifth of those.
Please tell me how to switch the flashlight so that for example there are 3 or 4 modes as a percentage, for example 10% brightness then 40% then 100%????
Hi! Great review, thanks! I have 3x21a sbt90.2. It is the same as 4x18 a, the only difference is 21700 batteries. I am thinking about 3x21d. My question is 3x21d much better, stronger than my 3x21a? Or it's about the same in practical use? Thank you!
Hey! could you help me i have a convoy 3x21D. the torch lights up, but the key doesn't work. cannot turn off the light or change the brightness. where could be the problem? also, when I try to charge the flashlight, the light comes on when charging! is it normal??
Hello dear friend i am thinking of buying this new model Convoy 3x21d sbt90.2 flashlight. I would love to hear your opinions and experiences about this flashlight. What I am wondering is if there is a noticeable decrease in the light when the flashlight is in turbo mode or does the sbt90.2 led brightness decrease after 2 minutes because the flashlight heats up. how many minutes and how many lumen output is fixed. and from batteries to batteries, does the light brightness and working time change, do the batteries affect the working parameters of the flashlight? I currently have Molicel p42a and samsung 50E batteries. Would you recommend this flashlight or should I look into other long range flashlights?
I changed driver in this flashlight to 18A stabilized one. Batteries do matter. With molicel it will be a bit brighter, but less runtime. Brightness drops because of the temperature. If you use it outside, it may cool faster allowing you to use it more on turbo. And yes, I strongly recommend it, other flashlights of this kind cost twice.
@@FlashlightTechSo what I want to know is: When you turn the flashlight on turbo mode directly, does the brightness of the light begin to visibly decrease immediately? Or does it dim the brightness after a few minutes?..
