I like how they show the Jedi as flawed, arrogant, and unprepared. Darth Teeth was a street brawler going up against Jedi who have been practicing in a Jedi Dojo. I'm pretty sure I saw Darth Smiley hit a Jedi over the head with a beer bottle.
none of these are plotholes...they show the track got swipe clean at the storm, his just saying that to make her comfortable, second, do you realize how many girls are there in the waste land that got used and toss out? one little girl got missing, sure they would look for her for a while, but they wont bother for a long time, third, she did intentionally wanted to go home in the end, the green place, fury road, maybe your too young to remember a movie from 10 years ago.
After Furiosa escaped from Rictus, there was a time jump of several years, represented by the tree with her wig caught in it on the Citadel walls. So Imortan Joe may have had a bad reaction, kicked Rictus' butt, searched the Citadel for her. From there perspective Rictus knew she ran onto a gantry with no guard rail, it likely she fell or jumped, her corps would have gathered up by the wretched below for maggot faming. The Citadel is totally a place where someone could disappear and leave no trace. The other thing is the film is told as Furiosa's story so we don't get story if she's not directly part of it, aside from a few bits with Dementus. This isn't a plot hole to me. The other thing is the History man told her to make herself useful to Dementus, she took that onboard and applied it to Imortan Joe, she was more useful as a road warrior than a wife.
U left out the biggest plot hole of them all. How the hell did she get away from Dementus while hanging with her nearly severed arm as his gang is riding around her as he sits in the vehicle. She had to violently rip her arm off, sneak to find a bike and ride off without anyone seeing or hearing her. She also would have bled out on the ride out. The 1st plot hole mentioned isn't really a plot hole imo. It's just Dementus talking to who he perceives to be a frightened little girl. He surely knows the sandstorm will wipe out any bike tracks. He thinks by being nice he'll con little Furiosa to lead him and his gang to her home. Also the way she so easily makes her new arm out of old parts is ridiculous. Really hope the box office totals ends any more of these movies. If you're not gonna have Max and an actual film where he's the central character then what the hell is the point.
I think for that scene, the implications that she used the dust to hide her movements and with all the other bikes running loudly, they didn't hear her ride away. The real answer is that she's Batman. I think the thing with the prosthetic arm is just something we chock up to the world they are in because from a logic standpoint. Everyone should be dead from either infection or dehydration because immortan joe definitely doesn't release enough water a day for all those people to still be alive.
@@ScreenStaticStudios A plot hole involves a contradiction or error of logic. Most of what you detail in this video are, at best, matters left unexplained but probably better-characterized simply as off-screen action left to the audience to infer. The one exception is the trail and the sandstorm---the first "plot hole" to which you refer. Yet; I find your interpretation "unique." The villain had no way of knowing a sandstorm was on the way: He has the service of a History Man, not a Weather Man.
@WatchMaga I don't entirely disagree with your critique. It mightve been more accurate to say "questions the movie didn't answer" Except, the Sanatomr point and her not immediately heading home at the end of this, I maintain are both actual plot holes. With the sandstorm, he doesnt need a weatherman, the Sandstorm on the Horizon in the same scene where he says they will follow the tracks in the morning.
@@ScreenStaticStudios Appreciate the reply. A fair-minded response. I would need to watch this film and fury road a second time to determine if there is an implied explanation for her not heading home immediately.
I say just save Blace for the rebooted MCU and cast someone whos not in their 50's. I honestly feel like thats why they're rushing to finish the multiverse storyline and makes sense that they went with bringing in characters from fox universe instead of coming up w something else. The best solution is a soft reboot with no multiversal shenanigans at least for the first decade 😂
@@ScreenStaticStudios Yeah and I think they'll restart the whole thing starting with X-Men plus they can still keep.certain storylines and their characters just not all of them. For example anything before iron man1 happened and you wouldn't need any origin films for characters we know. So basically start at iron man one for the avengers and this time mutants and the fantastic 4 etc all already existed
The characters are bigger than actors and people need to just move TF on sometimes. I hate that whole actor Loving shit going on. Black Panther should've just been recast and so should Kang or anyone else who can't get the job done
Looks like Hollywood has hedged its bets after the disasterous 2023 summer season with 'tentpoles' like'The Flash', 'Indiana Jones 5', 'Little Mermaid', 'Haunted Mansion', and other flops. Maybe people are finally getting tired of the same old s-it over and over again.I know I am.
Episode 1 already establishes the sith haven’t been around for 1000 years…. Yet we have this show… absolutely brain dead writers introducing characters too early and contradicting that characters own statements in later films.
Well, in the phantom Menace, it's established that Ki Adi Mundi is wrong. The jedi in that time believed the Sith have been extinct. In the Acolyte, we see Ki Adi Mundi, but at the time, they think the threat is, at worst, some Rogue jedi. So they have 4 more episodes to explain how they never come to the conclusion of Sith
Well then what about darth sidious or plagueis or tenebrous?? They were around before episode 1 yet somehow nobody talks about that while looking for reasons to complain
Let Jordan Peele direct it make it a mini series about 5 to 7 episodes get Ali and Snipes involved and make as close to rated R as you can a please make sure the Villain is outstanding and have a few nice cameos like The Punisher and Dare Devil 😤⚡
It should start out as a series. Blade already had a very good TV series and proved it was possible. However, a Blade movie needs to happen on its own to set up a Midnight Sons movie. A TV series can set up the supernatural monsters universe better than a movie and cover origins, as well as exceptions to the rule of monsters - leading to monsters as part of a Midnight Sons team. A Blade movie needs to be like any other MCU movie with the possibility of introducing new side characters (Ghost Rider) or cameos (Dr. Strange, Man-Thing, and Werewolf by Night). If they want monsters, it kind of needs to be its own spin-off with maybe the Scarlet Witch (of another dimension) or Dr. Strange as the tie-in to the main MCU. Otherwise, it can get too weird too fast and flop as being 'Not Marvel Enough'.
The mental gymnastics is strong with this one. What would the motive even be, exactly? With Kamino it’s obvious, Dooku and Dyas wanted to grow the clone army in secret. So what, we’re going to retroactively make Mundi and quite possibly the entire Jedi Council evil? This is not the hill to die on my man
I'm not sure of Mundis role at this point. I'll have to let the show play out so I can see it in it's full context. But at the moment. They think this threat is nothing worse than a Rogue Jedi and even that is something they want to keep secret.
No. They'll ruin it. They'll change his gender, or they'll make him gay, or trans. Wait a few more decades when this current generation are rolling around in their mobility scooters.
Why not? Disney has destroyed the MCU, Star Wars, and Dr Who. They have ruthlessly plundered their own back catalogue for inferior remakes, atracked lifelong fans, demonised straight white men, and trashed their own reputation. What's one more litre of petrol on the bonfire?
People tend to forget Blade was the OG Marvel movie (yeah I know not MCU cause that was 2008) but it was before the Spider-Man blockbuster hit and X-Men movies. Even as a very white dude (Norwegian/German) the Blade movies in theaters were my jam (didn’t care as much for the third one though). I think people are getting a little burnt out of the series stuff. I spend a lot of time watching various streaming services and I’m not even caught up on everything. I do agree movies are way too short these days to develop characters for an audience who doesn’t already know them though. They could pull an Underworld and do a quick explanation in the beginning of the movie and then have another movie or tv series later that goes deeper into the details of how he got to where he was.
Since we're already halfway through the season, I think it's going to be someone we've seen already. They might turn out to be tenebrous though and they changed his species
@@ScreenStaticStudios True. But I think on last night’s episode when he arrived on the planet with Mae you can see him out away a lightsaber in his bag.
That's why I said Dooku was "instrumental". All sifo Dyas did was put in the order for the clones. Then he was almost immediately killed by dooku. Dooku was the one who recruited Jango Fett to be the genetic sample for the clones
I just want to point out that the theme of all Mad Max movies is how do we act when the world is falling apart around us. All the time devoted to young Furiosa is necessary, in my opinion. With that upbringing, Furiosa could become much like Dementus. But she furiously resists evil (Dementus), and then she does positive good (rescues Immortan Joe's wives). To me, both FURIOSA and FURY ROAD are masterpieces. Although he is a loner, Mad Max also resists evil and does positive good.
Is the Green Place hard to find? We see an aerial shot, and much of the Green Place is a valley sheltered and hidden by high cliffs. It does have at least one entrance/exit. In FURY ROAD, the Green Place has turned into a swamp, and we don't ever see the high cliffs, but it's nighttime.
What does Curiosa's mother go after her alone, leaving the other woman behind? She says that the other woman is needed back home, but also she is on horseback, chasing motorcycles. Two women will make the horse tire more quickly. Motorcycles won't get tired, and so Furiosa's mother gets a motorcycle as quickly as she can.
They can easily make a Blade movie but Disney cannot engineer things to be the way they want too. Although highly doubt they would make it a series after what happened with the last Blade TV show. lol. It didn't have the greatest public reception.
Yea, lol but the last tv show didn't have the movie star playing Blade in it or the production value of a movie. We know a Blade Movie can be made, He'll, they did it pretty well almost 30 years ago. But I guess we'll have to see.
The show you re refering to was decades ago but now things are différente and this shhow would take place in the mcu wh9ch is the biggest franchise now
I really enjoyed this show. It showed the nuance of black women working in white spaces well. I love how they depicted a Jamaican British family and the portrayal of South London
I personally think that blade should be a series from the start, its a better fit and would allow to better explore his lore and fully establish it in the mcuverse
If you need to have a origin story you need to go read the damn comic if you want a blade series fine but don't start at the beginning we ALL know the origins
It can be done. Marvel didn't do Spidermans origin, but he's also the most well know character in Marvel. Blade isn't. So I don't know what they'll do. 🤔
it may be better to introduce him as a mysterious side character in a different story before he a gets a solo adventure, eek his lore and backstory out over time with a number of one liners and dramatic reveals. You dont need to see the origin story first hand
That's what I think they should do, just make him this dark presence. They way they did that post credits scene with just his voice was the perfect vibe. Just keep that going.
@@ScreenStaticStudios what they could do is movie from the perspective of some random henchman and treat him like a slasher in a horror movie, picking them off one by one
