Lovely, you nailed the sort of tension between the uneasy sounding chords after the nicer, less dissonant first chord sort of progression that stars of the lid are good at doing.
What a beautiful city you have! I work for Bosch so sometimes go there or Miskolc. That Continental Hotel is one of my favorites. I guess it was an old Roman bath house years and years ago. Such beautiful architecture and those huge doors at the entrance are something!
I didnt feel any chills listening to the music and i was using headphones at 40 volume. I only really get chills when its attached to a cool scene like an anime edit or just cool background music at the right time
Thank you! That XO is amazing so all credit to that for the drum beat. The percussion sounds I layered in there with Life which is another amazing product - I sampled the sounds from an adult video of all things.
Thank you! I think I may be onto something here with the CZ synth, but I'll come back to it sometime when I can put more effort into it. I think I'm learning more by getting close to how they made their music but I feel like exactly duplicating it would just be not only futile (probably) but also kind of a desecration of their works. It's a weird feeling.
Maybe I have an idea. I think it can be the MIDI range over on the right side. That thing, if you click on it, brings up a keyboard where you can select which note or notes triggers the selected emitter. I had a hell of a time with that to start. So maybe that is it. If you hit any key in that MIDI range for the given emitter, you'll trigger the emitter, but not different notes or different emitters. Clicking on the different emitters changes to a different MIDI range for each so what I do is set each emitter to a single note (and one that is in my keyboard range), then I can play the notes and trigger each different emitter. I'm not sure why having a range of MIDI notes is even necessary when they all just trigger the same emitter. Gosh I hope that helps some. Let me know if you need anything else. And you can email me at larslentz@hey.com if you want too.
I tried with all the settings you're showing here, but it doesn't sound like that for me... Could I have missed something, or did you use another plugin with the CZ-101? Frustration...
I just checked and there are a few screens on the CZ instrument so maybe something in there is different. I just exported the preset I used and I put it in my Dropbox. Here's a link: www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dqbjw8pvj6utbvcloc5iy/CZ_Preset_Ol-Organ_20240811_13h05.czvx?rlkey=f3hc5d75q5071rudimk0415ct&st=js1aekq6&dl=0 I hope it works for you. If not, let me know.
Yes. It is in a set of presets for TAL Sampler that I hadn't finished yet. Here is a link to them in my Dropbox: www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/8y580gz5o5ekw3lvxq70h/AKJwETMCNlQ2OyD5HBBVjnY?rlkey=gf25hfr7utbmygdoypu971q40&st=m8c3xzkz&dl=0 The one you mentioned is in the TCH subfolder. I hope that helps but if not let me know.
@@LarsLentz Oh wow, you’re amazing! Some of the patches from your first pack are already making their way onto my next album. I can't thank you enough!"
