I can always tell when somebody talks through 80% of the lesson then the 20% that's left is going to be pretty worthless. The dudes that talk a lot usually can't play.
I love your lessons Sir! I am a new bass player and have already learned a lot from your videos. I hope you are able to keep posting lessons for a long time to come! Cheers from Texas! Subscribed!
Hello Jay and thanks for your kind comments. Especially when you are new to bass (how exciting!) you should try to make sure you check out lessons in the best possible order. Kind regards from Australia and Bass of Luck!
Clickbait. Most boring “lesson” ever. He basically just tells you the name of every fret on the bass. Figured that out all by myself the first five minutes after I picked it up. Do not waste your time watching this crap. It’s completely worthless and an absolute waste of time.
Thanks for pointing this out and I apologize for my incorrect terminology/grammar in the video title. What I meant was a groove on a fretless jazz bass, not a jazz groove specifically ... which this is not.
Hello Mick - well observed. The E Minor Pentatonic and the G Major Pentatonic scales have the same notes. If you are familiar with the term Relative Minor, E Minor is the Relative Minor of G Major.
you are the guy- tu eres el hombre. l like your look l like everything you do since you woke up and got uo today and yesterday. l m chilling in the bass becasuse of this video. have a great weekend.
Hello Skip. Thanks for checking into this lesson and for your kind comment. Thanks also for purchasing my walking bass method. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you want any help. Kind regards, George
Hello Danilo Thanks for checking in with your observation. The bass was recorded quite up-front with newish strings and treble dialed in. (Some people actually like this sound; not me necessarily, except where it has its place.) But to answer your question, no the frets don't need maintenance.
Bought my first bass last week, and seem to be able tot follow on intermediate level pretty well. Cool! I found some good video's to practice. Thanx a million for that. Tip: To be able to navigate your video's even better, it might be nice to have them sorted by level in different playlists.
