While I certainly don’t feel the analysis here of the book of Job and its larger meanings is inspired by the Holy Spirit, I admire Jordan Peterson’s attempt. I think his rational philosopher brain takes over a bit more, and I think it would sound a little different if he prayed and meditated on the verses with the Spirit.

Jordan Peterson said right from the beginning that God was harassing job. That he made an unreasonable bet with Satan, but he's God and he is able to do anything he wants. I've looked at the book of Job up and down and sideways and every other angle, and to me it's a cruel cruel book.
Jordan you are void of spiritual understanding. The wisdom of man is foolishness to God. This is talking about salvation to those that believe and condemnation to those who believe not.
I actually gained nothing or lost nothing by listening to this. He sounded very "windy", if I may say so. Be carful, folks, that you don't get caught up in "windy doctrine" like this. Christianity, simply put, is this: 1. Conviction of sin 2. Repentance to Christ of that sin 3. Asking Jesus to be your Lord and Savior to free you from that sin. 4. The Holy Spirit leads you after making that confession (whether you "feel" him or not he's there) 5. Connecting to a local church to begin fellowship and studying God's Scriptures (the Bible) 5. Lifelong sanctification (growing in the knowledge, wisdom and love) with other trusted believers and Christ leading your life. This is a great lifelong journey that ends in eternal life with your Creator

But for us, the other ones, the ones with pumped up egos and educational pride, Jordan shows the way to go from Galilee to Jerusalem...via the North Pole! Why are we doing this to ourselves? Why don't we take the short and easy path of BLESSED NAIVITY? Why are we so unable, so spiritually crippled, to just commit ourselves to the Hands of God? Earthly wisdom is a poison without a previous firm and stable faith in the True, Living God. Real wisdom starts from blessed naivity.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, that NOT once did you abuse the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, or our Heavenly Father ( God ). Christ has touched this man it seems..I believe he has accepted the bible actually is true..this life is about Jesus! We were created to make a decision to either believe or not..but if you do turn from a life of sin..to your best ability to live according to how Jesus told us to live..so thankful for what He did for us...to have the free gift of salvation given to us...to truly know God's plan and what Jesus suffered for us..to not want to live selfishly anymore! This life is a blink compared to eternity! How in the world can we throw away the opportunity of eternal life with Jesus? We may not understand it all..but keep our faith til our last breathe and we will see Him!
If the book of Job is true, God is an absolute monster. There is no other conclusion. Reading Job has devastated me. It exposes God as an utter tyrant. I wish I'd never read it.

I wanna make it very clear. He made no arguments for why the Bible is true. He made it very evident his basis is that the Bible is influential because the first printing press (made in Christian nations) printed a lot of bibles. This is ridiculous.
There's only 1 thing that's true and that there's a creator. Therefore the bible contains truths for there's a difference between "true" and "truth". Scientific studies such as history and anthropology reveals discrepancies within the bible that confirms that it isn't totally factual and if there's the presence of any uncertainty in anything it can't hold the resumption of being "true"
In order for a non believer to understand the truth of the bible, it can only be revealed to them if God allows it. Otherwise it’s just never going to make any sense and will sound like a science fiction fantasy. I experienced this first hand.

This is one of the bible Prophecies that was fulfilled that proves the bible to be the Word of God. And to go even deeper, the book of Daniel chapters 2,7,8 gives the exact history of kingdoms that would conquer in exact order, even calling them by name - Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. This happen even before they all conquered. The Bible is the Word of God! The Bible says, "Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endurethfor ever." (Psalm 119:160). Before Christopher Columbus had it all figured out, thinking the world was flat, the Bible said in Isaiah 40:22 "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:" Job 26:7 "He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing." Note: No one hadn't even seen earth from space yet to say it hangs on nothing. Job 28:25 "To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure." Note: Scientists discovered that wind has weight or exerts pressure in the late 17th century. Evangelista Torricelli, an Italian physicist, invented the barometer in 1643, which demonstrated that the weight of the atmosphere exerts pressure, including the pressure exerted by wind. So, indirectly, this led to the understanding that wind has weight. While nuclear physicist continues to wonder why the atom still doesn't fly apart like they believe it should, the Bible let's us who believe in God to know that through Jesus "all things consist" or let me just say hold together.
