Had the pleasure of seeing this man and Sarah Brightman in Vancouver BC at the QueenE 2 times and in La at the La opera house 2 times. Very powerful performances and magic between the two. Never be able to match their styles or energy’s.
A great memory from a Nuchael Crawford concert in Grand Rapids, MI. Michael Crawford mesmerized that audience. Happy to hear him again. I also saw his performance in Phantom.
Don't forget, you're not "just" witnessing a masterful, heart-rending male voice. The lyric writing. The orchestra. The choir. All of it is just perfection.
I could not believe how good Michael was as the phantom. He has not been and never will be beaten. I had the absolute joy of watching him and Sarah Brightman and they completely took my breath away. His depth of feeling is unsurpassed.

Was told Crawford is better than JOJ. Seeing this, wholeheartedly disagree. The Phantom is supposed to be sinister and dangerous. His sensual nature is in constant conflict with his violent tendencies, as is what drives the whole story. This just feels too fluffy for the Phantom.

I feel so much love for this magnificent artist MICHAEL CRAWFORD. What an amazing person. I am so sad I never got to see him live. But this video is so entertaining. He's a one off, brilliant performer and may he live long and prosper. God bless you Mr. Crawford.
A stunning talent. I saw Michael twice as Phantom in London. More recently he passed me in a corridor of Southwark Cathedral. Would have loved to stop him but I knew he was busy.
