Super Double Dragon for the win and i don't care what anyone else says and return is okay 🐉🐉 plus they have 2 different names so they're not the same name. Also Super Double Dragon came out on October 8th 1992
Retry the whole level is the best way to learn how to play, if you continue exactly after you lose then never will be a improvement, and that's part of the experience, "just a little more far" each time and eventually the game is beaten, is a challenging experience and I love it.
I have played through both. They both really have their strong points. NES players had to wait for the sequel for co-op mode. The colors are always more vibrant in SMS version as well as their games in general. The XP system for NES made you more motivated so you can unlock the moves.
If you are a stickler for quality and content then the new collection might be the best way to go. Easy secret fighter selection, online and a pc release will do wonders for these games. Imagine what things modders can make
A few of the character choices seem questionable at first but when you see what kind of mechanics they wanted to implement with those characters, like omega red being a ranged grappler it just makes sense
I got into this series (and really fighting games in general) with the original MvC on PSone, but I never got to play CotA, so I am super looking forward to this and the other games in the upcoming collection!
Great video. I just beat this game and wow it was hard. I had to use save states for the final two levels. Also I notice at 15:29 there's more detail on the statue in the background of the NA version.
Personally I still like Genesis Sparkster more. The SNES version may move faster, but it’s really not designed around it. Those insta-kill presses just lying around to intercept you on stage 2 are some Bubsy levels of bad design.
Neo-Geo Pocket fighting games were surprisingly legit, I have countless hours on Samurai Showdown 2 on the system and was thrilled they started putting these out on the Switch recently.
Thank you, you kinda helped me see which version I think is better because I recently got Super and Advance for the switch for my dad for Father’s Day, so now we have all double dragon games that are on the switch, so now when we play if it gives us the option between us and Japan we now which one we would want to pick
Bro, I really enjoy your videos!! They are amazing!! I've been a fan of G&G, since I first played it on the NES when I was a kid. I've been playing Super Ghouls and Ghosts with the fastRom hack. All I can say is, Wow!!! It's hard to go back to the regular game after playing that. You should try it.. Anyway, stay awesome!! 🤩👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
I own just the pal snes glichy mess it come with a healty price of 98£ back im the day . Just awful waste of time ,dosen't worth even from collecting perspective.
