My wife and I built a net zero, passive solar home in central MN. We have a Kubota B2601 with several attachments, we heat with wood using a masonary heater, we make beer, wine, maple syrup and honey. I will be sharing all these and other projects around our farm.
I have third function hydraulic lines going along the right side of my loader, so I don't think this will work on that side. Are the parts all symmetrical? In other words, would this work if I attempt to install it on the left side of my loader?
How's she goin'? Glad to see you finally got some snow. Not the best for plowing when it's wet and heavy but the blower seemed to get through it OK. Nice job and ya gotta love a tractor with a cab, especially with a blower on eh! Take 'er easy!!
Nice job Mike I am so jelly 😂 that cab and snow blower is the way to go. This last storm was some very heavy snow. Does that cab come with a radio? Thanks for the video 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Just saved this for installation help - I bought the parts on 3/3/24 for a total of $158.82 including shipping to Texas. All parts were in stock at Messick's. The parts themselves came out to $127.41
Wow Mike you look so nice and cozy in that cab. I hope you got a good deal at Olson. Now I know why it hasn’t snowed this year you got a cab and a blower. We still have a chance for some good snow so you can put it to the test. Thanks for video 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I love blowing snow in my B2601, you just have to put on about a hundred pounds and about a hundred layers of goretex and then you’re good!! Cheers!!! -Phil from Saskatoon
Hey Mike, thanks for watching. Whenever i watch you looking back to direct your blower, my neck hurts! I really didn’t need to move that little bit of snow, but i just had to use the blower before it’s too late! Cheers!
How's she goin'? Nice tractor there Mike. The blower looks to be doing a great job too. When I first got my tractor I had a front blower but it didn't work that good for me. Was breaking down a lot and plugging up. So I traded it for a rear blower and I wish I could say I never looked back since, but every time I use the blower i look back!! LOL I'm glad you were able to get some use from your blower. Winters are strange eh. Last winter I didn't use the blower at all and this year I have used it a ton. Thanks for posting this video and take care!!
Good evening, I enjoyed the video! Congratulations on the tractor and blower. We here in south western Nova Scotia don't usually get a lot of snow, but we have had 2 nor'easters in two weeks, which put my B2601 to work. Have a great week, Ben 👍
I love the handle on the loader frame. Much needed and well done! I have a Kioti and I am going to find a way to do something similar. Thanks for sharing!
Both parts, 7J066-58960, and 7J066-58940 are on the parts list. The first one is called a "Stay indicator," and the second one is labeled "Indicator". Does that help? Thanks for watching!
There are two ways to kill buckthorn. Cut it and apply herbicide to the stump. Or pull it out of the ground with roots. If you cut the top off without a herbicide treatment, it will come back. Thanks for the watching. Cheers!
Awesome video Mike 😁👍 I really like the upgrade to the rear blade you got. It looks like you got it all figured out on your road between the plow blade and your rear blade. Perfect timing this year has been heavy with snow. Jason did a great job. Thanks for the video. Stay warm and keep it up the sunny side 😁👍🚜💨☀️☀️☀️☀️🍳
Nice modification! I really prefer the snowplow over the snowblower. You are right, the speed of the machine will help rolling over the snow. You might remember, I did a wing thing in the past! Thanks!
How's she goin'? Now that's the way to plow your lane eh!! Using the back blade to knock the tops off the banks and then your front blade can roll the snow up on top of that lower snow bank!! Nice mod to the back blade. Working perfect now eh!! The blower and the plow both have their strong suits and they both have their baggage as well. That's why I have both!! LOL Great to check out your video Mike and take 'er easy!!!
Great modification, I did the same thing to my plow blade. It has made it much more versatile. I really like those handles too. Great mod for guys who’d like something extra to hold on to when getting in and off the machine. *Keep on tractoring!*
Nice video. A blower is better for me. I have no place to push the snow. And, I would run out of room for the snow, as you probably experience too. Well, I used to. The past few winters have been mild.
