I obviously prefer the quick attach plow! You got more snow than us in Quebec. I welded three snowplows this year, I guess this is why the snow does not want to come toward us! Lol! Thanks for sharing Mike!
From Steel To Wood I watched you make one of those plows! Great work, Joe! I wonder if your lack of snow will last much longer. If it starts snowing again you should make another plow!! Cheers!
Nice video I thought I watched all of your videos but I missed this one. Have you named your tractor yet? I am thinking SUPER B! thanks for sharing mike.
Hi Mitch, thanks for watching! I have not named my tractor. I guess I am waiting for the best name to pop into my head. Super B is a good idea! I’ll see if it sticks. It’s gonna be a great weekend, I hope you get out and enjoy it! Cheers!
@@peacefieldfarm_mn I am about to go out and try out the IBC tote watering device on the 3 point mounted pallet forks. We will see how much the Inspector (name of my B2601) can lift. you have a great weekend too : )
That’s my setup! Curious about traction, I put on a heavy hitch with 8 suitcase weights but did not fill my tires (I still might). I have r14 tires. Thank you for your vid
Traction has been no problem. I can even plow uphill! Not a full plow blade of wet heavy snow, but”normal” snow, no problem. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
Good morning Michael! Thanks for the overview! Hey quick question - are those R4 tires or did you order the Bar-turf tires for the B2601? And if they are the bar-turf, how is the traction in the snow? Thanks!
Mornin’ Gord! The tires on my B2601 are R-14. They have excellent traction in the snow. My old BX 2660 had regular R-4 tires, so I am not sure if it is because the B series is heavier or because of the tires, or both, but my new tractor has way more traction. I am very impressed. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing your videos Michael. I am very close to taking delivery of a B2601 and tried to get the bar-turf tires Gord @GP Outdoors mentioned (@Messick's has a very convincing video comparison) but they are not a standard option at my dealership and super expensive to substitute so I too went with the R14s. Glad to hear they do well in the snow! GP Outdoors swayed my decision between plow and blower, I went with the "commercial" 55" model. I just found your channel this morning and am a new subscriber! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have posted! Thank you for sharing your experience.
