Do you know whether the lifespan of a monster hatched from a worm will restart depending on the new monster or finish out whatever remains of the Worm's lifespan?
@@nrsatria It uses the remaining lifespan of the Worm. Its stat gains will also be that of the Worm's, so if the Worm has low Pow gains, the cocooned monster will also have low Pow gains Lastly, the guts regen rate will also follow that of the Worm's
@@nrsatria Gemini's Pot increases Fear. Sculpture increases Spoil. Spoil/2 + Fear/2 = Loyalty Sculpture only reduces fatigue on the DX version. In the PS1 version, it reduces fatigue and increases spoil. The method in this video uses Magic Bananas to increase lifespan. If you don't have many Gemini's Pots, you might lose loyalty faster than gaining it
Thanks for the great video. Sorry if this was already asked, I tried to read through the first hundred comments or so and didn't see it. What is the difference between base stat order and combined stat order? Most of the time they are the same, but what if they are different? In the video you seem to only refer to base stat order? (according to the table you linked in your description)
Base stat order is the order of the base monster. For example, a fresh Mock starts with very high life stat, so Lif is the highest stat according to base stat order. The base stat order is used to determine the stat order of the parent monster when there's a tie when the correct stat order of the parent (1:54) Combine stat order is the stat order to aim for when you want this monster as baby from combining (8:26)
For some reason, Colt gives the dialogue prompt for "Prime Stage" on my durahan at 1 yr 11 months old when i tried doing the first training routine here
Hahaha I wasted my time and my money, I just realized this is MR2 and I've been playing mr2dx version. Which means the magic banana doesn't have the same effects as this version. But I still got my joker to 7y 1month. Also can someone give me a monster combination for joker?
You can use the Combination Calculator on Legendcup to plan out your combinations: legendcup.com/combocalc-mr2.php If you want to combine 2 monsters to create a Joker, go to the Target Result section and select Joker/Joker, then click on Suggest Parents If you want to find a partner to combine with your Joker, enter your Joker's stats into Parent 1, then click Suggest Baby and choose a target monster. After that, click Suggest Parents and check "Keep Parent 1" Note that in MR2DX, there are many variants and the combinations will not work as planned unless you select the right variant in the calculator
@@teawchOmg you're still active, Sorry for the late reply because i never got a notification. I also checked the vid again incase you replied and you did. Also I didnt combine my joker, Instead i got silver peach and let it die. Sounds Like waste of time and money because of raising joker but that is fine. Btw will you still post videos? If so, Please post a video on what to do to Get kato/tiger (main/sub) With high stats. The one video you posted. I need to know how you raise the monsters and combining them in both gen 1 and 2. Thanks
@@holyskibidirizz I will still post videos, but not anytime soon, so I'll try to answer your question here. I raised the Mocchi/Kato and Tiger/Gali using Paradoxine (see my Wracky video). I used 3 Paradoxines for Mocchi/Kato and 2 Paradoxines for Tiger/Gali. I used the no rest method (Hard Drill+ Nuts Oil/Light Drill + Mint Leaf) for the rest of their lives, then combined them into Kato/Tiger and raised that one to max stats using the no rest method
@@teawch Thank you, I have already seen the wracky video and did what you said in the video. I maxed out almost all stats except for speed ( 775 ) and defense ( 582 ). I did not continue since i was lazy doing it and it gives low points. I still hope you post sooner or later.
Hi guys, I'm using duckstation on android and can't seem to generate the correct monster. Any workaround? .cue file isn't also working, when I select it, I get an error message saying it's not supported
@@alfaizeusman6731 Get to the "Insert a CD" screen in game, then switch CD and load the .bin file first. Before continuing, switch CD again and load the .cue file Then, continue with the game Also, make sure your .cue file is a .cue file. Some mobile phones will change the .cue file to a .cue.txt file which is not supported
Hidden things are too much. Like we had like 5-6 people playing it for like 3-4 years every day and none of us got more than 40-50 monsters and only some of us reached S rank. Then, someone bought gameshark and we lost interest. The game is still legit
Man, I wish I knew these strategies back when I was a kid playing this game! I remember pouring my heart into raising my monsters, spoiling them rotten to keep them alive. I even tried setting routines, but never could quite get them to B-class. Seeing them die before the A-rank tournaments always broke my heart. Those in-game funerals hit hard after all that love! Speaking of monsters, Suezo was definitely my favorite. The way it waddles around always cracked me up. Maybe a Suezo guide next?
I have a feeling a monster like this should be able to beat the legend cup. Just 4 more weeks for the qualifiers and 1 for the Legend Cup. Also, since the official tournaments happen on the 4th of the month, a ton of Sculptures and Gemini Pots could get Loyalty even higher.
me rewatching this for the tech inheritance guide, I'm sadden by the fact that you have to re-use nitons shell attack and spiked shell by 50 times to get violent shell every time you combine
That's part of the challenge that you can be proud of, since 90% of players would not get Violent Shell on their Nitons because it requires too much effort
I just found your channel this week. I already watch like 5 vids. You taught me tons. I am 33-4 , it been like 23 years when i first played this Thank yyou , i learnt so much from your videos. This videos is 8 years old and still helping people and you let me connect with best memories of my childhood. Internet is really cool, because of people like you. i am very very Thankful.
Damn bro. Didn't knew this game was so deep before. This explanation would've blown my 9yrs old brain. I never knew that there are these kind of calculations being considered.
Hi can i ask something, why if we do battle it can reduce 3 weeks of lifespan? Won't the fight only give fatigue of 37 (if we win) and that's no more than the lifespan reduction limit of 70?
Battles are special. They reduce lifespan by 3 x (Lifespan Index + 1) So if the lifespan index is 71 after battle, your monster will lose 6 weeks of lifespan instead of 3
but i wonder when is the best time to give gold peach and silver peach on general raising method (like drugs one or no rest one) to a monster? this far i only gave them after prime stage when i notice the stats gaining less but i don't actually know is it the best time or not
@@jwibao Yes, the purpose of feeding them peaches is to extend the duration of their prime stage There are 2 Prime stages: Prime 1 has the maximum gains possible Prime 2 has 1 less gain than Prime 1 For example, a Zuum training Pull during Prime 1 will get +14 to + 17 in Pow, but in Prime 2, it will get +13 to + 16 in Pow If you feed it peaches at the end of Prime 1, it might go back to adolescent stage and waste some weeks in adolescent stage If you feed it peaches at the end of Prime 2, it will spend more weeks in Prime 2 instead of Prime 1 As long as you're still in Prime stage after feeding peaches, the result is acceptable
@@jwibao The monster gets bigger when you go from adolescent to prime stage. There's no difference in size when it goes from prime stage to elder to old age If you're play Monster Rancher 2 DX on Switch or Steam, when your monster first enters prime stage, Colt will notify you that from now on, your monster's growth will depend on how you raise them
hello i know it's gonna be so late but may i ask is this raising method works to any monster? for now i have zuum and plan to raise it but i also plan to raise pixie or durahan soon will this method works for them too? thanks!
Hey, you know how sometimes before a drill, a monster will ask for items or rest or to play or something (y'know like what happens at 10:11)? Does anyone know why that is and does it also boost a success rate if you say yes or boost a failure/cheat rate if you say no?
If your monster is tired, it will ask to rest. If your monster lacks motivation, it might request for something. What it requests for depends on the monster's style. If the style is "Doting" it will ask to play next week. Saying "yes" or "no" to the monster's request has no effect on the success rate of the drill. Saying "no" gives the monster a bit of stress The success rate depends on the monster's life stage, the number of stars on the drill, how tired the monster is, and how much fear it has (more fear = higher chance of success). The cheat rate depends on the monster's motivation and nature (bad and worst natured monsters tend to cheat more)
