Thank you Dr Bailey! I’m on Day 3 and really struggling … I’ve ordered the pul tool but my teeth are very crowded it doesn’t work, should I keep trying the pul tool? I’m scared it will break my tray! 🥹
Maybe you could teach my ortho how to turn and lean a premolar, spike on spike collision and im in retainers, he sd let my teth settle for 2 months. The retainer is not gunna let this premolar turn lol
thank you so much for the video. my dentist said i can use the last aligner as a retainer and not buy another one. that seems strange to me. are aligners and retainers made of the same materials? am i right to use the last aligner or will my teeth shift?
Lol I love polident. My trays feel squeaky clean in my hands after it's done. After soaking it I also give it a brief mechanical brush with a toothbrush but wouldn't go as meticulous as I would when I wash it with soap.
do a clear retainer hold the movement of teeth up and down...?? I had teeth pushed up into bones will clear retainer prevent it from coming down again??
I am on my 3 tray and I can feel the soreness but it's not bad at all also I can tell my teeth are starting to move. And I really think it depends on the correction of your teeth you are trying to make
I'm in week 17 and I have used a solution of 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water to soak my trays while eating. Once done eating, I brush my teeth for breakfast and lunch, and brush and floss after dinner. In all instances, I remove my trays from vinegar/water solution and brush and then rise with water and place my trays back on my teeth. I've had no issues and the vinegar/water solution kills bacteria.
I got 13 attachments put in yesterday and about 5 have already fallen out. Is this normal? Do I have to get them back in asap, or can I wait until my next appt in 7 weeks? Thats what the dental office said. Invisalign should come up with a different system! These attachments should be part of the trays where they don't rip off every time
So I just got it and I'm having a hard time taking them out. I have no problem putting them in though As I'm taking them out My top front teeth hurt As I'm doing it and I'm bleeding I am so scared of losing teeth
Thank you very much for that video... for the first couple days I was that "perfect patient" and I found it really stressed me out for a couple of reasons... I'm okay with changing my lifestyle for a while, so no sipping coffee throughout the whole morning, no drinking tea while reading for hours... I can live with that. What stressed me was 1-rushing breakfast, that's just not good, makes the whole day stressed and 2-very individual to me but: singing. I'm a soloist in my choir and the mere thought of having to work around the aligners with a mic in front of my face and not being able to focus on what I actually am supposed to focus on in that moment almost made me cry... So that's what I use that extra hour for... I've extended breakfast time a little, just so I don't feel stressed and once a week for 2 hours rehersal they're out as well. Makes all the difference really... I now average 21 hours and don't constantly feel bad anymore... what a difference one hour per day can make...
It hurts the First couple of days because thats when the movements happen, After that you dont feel it. Wearing them 2 weeks each gives breathing space
what with dry lips and Dry Mouth..Pain is Actually Real..Even your remove to eat..The Teath Hurt when you eat something.. And By the way Gym Anology is great.
okay... for real... I'm making sure my aligners look pristine. I'm not putting anything in my mouth that has dirt on it. As for bite marks - how?? I can't bite through them anyways... I've been wearing each set as instructed and they looked brand new after... so if my ortho thinks I'M not wearing them because of that, that's messed up
Hi, I’ve been using my chewy on a regular at least 3 times a day, or more, and my orthodontist is still saying that the aligner is still not flush. When I did my recent scan, I made sure that I used the chewy b4 doing the scan with my aligners in. There is still space between some of the teeth and aligner. Any tips, or thoughts?
Im having the same issue when I changed to tray 4. Can you give me an update on your progress? Did it happen again for you or were you able to continue your treatment?
I’m really confused why my orthodontist has me wearing my bands from the top molars to the front teeth. I have an overbite and my lower teeth are curled in. Why would they be moving them even further back? Additionally, it took me an hour to get my rubber bands in on the first night. Just not seeing or understanding the value of the time investment.
So I lost an attachment on day one. 🤦🏼♀️ one from a back tooth on the bottom….. how common is that??? Going back to get it replaced next week hopefully.
My Day 1-3 of new tray is the hardest. Hard to remove, hard to put on and it hurt a lot. Then on Day 4-7 it's loose and everything is easy and no pain .
Thank you so much. Heading to the beach for 4th of July week and trying to figure how to navigate the aligner time but not add on extra days before switching trays. Your videos are so helpful. Thank you!
I am on day 4 of my aligners and have been logging just over 22 hrs. The app is extremely helpful so thank you. Thank you for the 3 hrs off suggestion. I am going on vacation shortly and that will help my stress. Otherwise, sticking to 22.
