The type XXI Electroboat rightfully has its place in history as the first modern attack or patrol submarine and Cold War SSK, both revolutionary and evolutionary in its design, born out of the need for a far less vulnerable boat with sophisticated sensors, weapons and an enhanced underwater performance. Speculation about its effectiveness and what might have been had it arrived earlier is moot because it didn't happen and we will never know for sure.
7:07 Really sad ...i hop one day america will be able to free it self from( is real ) occupation And AIPAC would free your wife and kids so you can start having an unbiased youtube channel Good luck in future videos
Late to this party, but I think the US' tank destroyer concept is quite similar to the British cruiser tank concept - both were attempts to overcome the limitations of contemporary engine technology in order to enhance operational and technical mobility, but resulted in a vehicle that - though good at the designed job - weren't quite useful enough on the battlefield. And, of course, both would go away once engines got good enough to have a tank that was both fast and well armed and armoured.
"But um, again, how do you know they're all female? Does somebody go out in the battlefield and pull up the tanks' skirts?" - Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm (probably)* *quote is of dubious nature
