En 2024 windowns 10 sigue funcionando. Solo hay que dejar la carpeta openwhitlis con el archivo defaul y de igual manera hay que cambiar también HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > (eliges tu extención) y dejas solo el archivo (Defaul) REG_SZ con 00000000 en datos binarios.
Hi thank for that video very helpful. I have hp printer also and wit software HP Smart printing and scanning works no problem. With the drivers for printer also comes scanning software called hp mfp scanner. IF YOU KNOW THIS ONE YOU MY HERO. In that software when I connect via USB scaner/printer is being recognized no issue. The problem I have if I want to communicate via wireless Software won't regonize scaner/printer. I have try everything maybe you know solution. Thanks in advance
I keep some empty ones that I know worked and just pop off bottoms and put them on your new pods if everything else fails, I just use something small like tweezers and push up on each side to release side and they pop off because no matter what I did it still didn't work on some of them.
Hi bro, thank you for helping people with issues and getting straight to the point. I have a question. My old PC died on me and I accidentally formatted my SSD backup drive to an ESD-USB Windows 10 Creation Tool, thinking it would be fine to reinstall Windows 10 on my old PC. Now, I managed to recover some files on my new laptop using a recovery software, however, my new laptop is Windows 11 and most of the files I recovered are unnamed, all my folders gone, some gigantic PDF files that are unopenable. My question: Does your method only work on the same PC or do you need to have all of the applications that were on the old computer installed on your new PC? Thank you so much in advance.

Don't forget to either set the IP on the printer as fixed or in the router in DHCP as reserved. Otherwise few restarts of the router/printer later and the printer will have a different IP address.
@@tinothomas4862 It is static if you set it to be static. The Default is DHCP and in such case the IP address is assigned by the DHCP server at random. You don't want a random IP on the printer each time you restart it or the router (DHCP server) Common users have no idea what all that means. You have to have a bit of networking knowledge.
I kept trying software fixes but atlast after cleaning the original cable with Isopropyl alcohol on both ends made it work. Lightening power is easy to clean but for the USB end...you can spray IPA and shoves some cotton and rub it with like mini screwdriver or something. It works. Its backing up my iphone while I am typing. Thanks
As some others have said, your printer may not show up in the arp -a list. Lucky for me, I was able to look it up on the little LCD screen of my HP Photosmart 8450 printer. (Menu-Tools-Network). Hope this helps someone.
Dude.... this is only video that worked for me. All the other vids found my printer name in ports via the devices and printers tab. I already know what it was called! haha... Your video found everything I needed. Thanks... I was frustrated because my phone could connect to my printer yesterday, but quit printing today! No explanations why! Still worked with my laptop... I may have to switch my printer to static IP. Is this a better option?
hi, i changed the hex file type to notepad, i tried your solution but i dont see a .hex in the fileexts. what should i do to restore the hex file to default?
