The suggestion about removing the bumper was on point. I had to mess with the stupid fishing pull through bolt things installing the truck camper frame mounts so I wasn't looking forward to having to mess with them again. I just needed to make a few suggestions with my 20lb sledge to the hitch mount and it went straight on more or less. The rest of the install was trivial.
Appreciate the view. I'm glad it helped you out. I didn't do a video when I installed my frame mounted tie downs, but yeah, on the driver side with the fuel tank, skid, shield, it was a PITA to get a couple bolts through.

Yes, I'm using pine for all the rebuilding. After the rear/side is complete, I will be moving to the roof above the bunk. There is a 26x26 escape hatch that leaked.

They're a can of worms for sure. I just got a 76 camper, 8' unknown brand. Luckily I only had 2 spots to fix. Waiting on my new jacks. Done with messing with old pump jacks. I am amazed they stay together with 1x2's frankly. I could have swore my 80s had plywood in the walls but can't remember
What’s that tube in front of the spark plugs and goes down behind the oil cap…. I broke the plastic tubing it was so brittle but anyway I need a new one AutoZone don’t know what it is or oriellys any info would be great thank you
Sorry, I didn't see your comment until now. I'm assuming it's some type of EVAP hose. I doubt any local auto parts store will have that part. I know there is a gm parts website that you should be able to get that item from or from a local junk yard etc.
