If you enjoy a mix of dual-sport motorcycle adventures and some light enduro riding, this is the channel for you. I started riding off-road motorcycles in 2018 and progressed from there. I consider myself to be an every day rider who participates in our local harescramble races but have no stunting experience. The videos mostly features our exploration rides, casual rides, harescramble races and hopefully our mishaps. The collection of videos here will ever be growing. The riding style is mostly focused on off-road terrain.
I will also be performing the occasional review on products or bike setup as well.
Thank you Sir. What wasn't apparent is that as I was approaching the fallen rider, I was in full slide as I lost traction on my rear wheel. I managed to feather it just enough to regain control and stop before I ran over him. That would not have been good! So glad we could avoid it.
@@mojozmoto it all depends. If you want to attend as a spectator, all you need to do is find the event on the NBDRA page (www.nbdra.ca/events). If you want to race, you need to become a member of the NBDRA, select a racing number and register for an event. It is all done through www.nbdra.ca. It's a lot of fun! There is a race this Sunday!
What an incredible course!! This is unreal. I never knew how much trail they put in up there. It looks like you guys were almost down to Winter River with some of it. The red isle ATV Trail is just up the road from there and its just like this too. Great Hole Shot!!
It was an amazing course. I had my first real jumps as I am not much of a jumper but the Sherco handled it perfectly. (The issue here is the rider and not the bike...lol) Sooooo close to that holeshot. I just missed it by a few inches where they had to go do photo finish to determine who had won it. I know some folks got there on their ATV as the trails were right there.
Thank you Sir! You were missed in this race. The unending twists and turns were a true test of your clutch arm, which I struggled with as early as the 2nd lap. That corner came in fast and yes, it was an amazing track!
In my mind i dont trust brands of filters where they say u can use for 1000 liters but they dont put no number countdown in the bottle, something went wrong and was your fault passing the amount of litter on the bottle, as well the same in the 99.9 % of virus and bactérias, if u die was the o,o1 they told u about it could pass the filter .. better u do with pure floor water(sorry, i dont know the name in English) 2 drops for 1 liter and kill all he germes, and still u could boild for 100% trust drink pure water😂
@@wvadv thank you! I wasn't pushing as hard on this race than what I usually do but it felt great. I felt like a lot of folks were passing me but most were from other classes...lol
It's rare that I get to see my wipeouts from this angle. After that truck, for whatever reason, I grabbed the clutch and just started rolling, lol. Great trip man. Glad everyone had a good time.
Also I suspect you are very familiar with what’s called the Caledonia Gorge? Any tracks/route you could suggest for us? I know it’s pretty much in our backyard but we just discovered it last weekend lol
@@davemarshallrides that's how I started. I still love my Dual Sport rides. The hare scrambles are definitely demanding but you built up to it. Plus, I had a hydration pack and a pit crew to dump some water on my back at the end of each lap (not too cold water but enough to give a little cooling).
Thought you had me to but I was reeling you in in lap 3 as I was fired up. By lap 4 I was charging hard and riding angry lol. You ran a great race for sure. This +40 class is getting pretty damn competitive!
You had an amazing race. By lap 3 & 4, I slowed down a little to manage my body temp as I was feeling I was heating up and just couldn't push as hard as I wanted to. To be honest, I expected Plus40 to be much more challenging than Int B and so far, it's proven to be the case. (Even if there's a few Int B out there that are wicked fast.)
I am not familiar with that grease but I would imagine that any high temp grease would work. I personally prefer axle grease as it is made for high speed rotating parts.
I was just saying the same thing to him. I only started very late (2020 for single tracks). Thank you for the positive comments. He is thoroughly enjoying the journey. I full size bike should be in his near future. I cannot wait for the day where he will be teaching me things.
5:04 looks like someone has done some more work on that hill and it seems to go more to the right side now. We rode it probably 3 weeks ago and it was much more of a tight switchback up the middle
So glad you are back Dude. So glad to see the part where they clear cut for the hydro lines looks way more cleared out! And so glad you never take me to the root hill climb. LOL. I can hear you now, "Some day". Hmm, maybe not in this life time. Interesting you comment on Dillion not slowing down for the corners. A skill I need to transition from cars to bikes. "Some day" hopefully. One question though, other than the roots, was Dillion "educating" you?🤣
They definitely cleaned that hill. I was a little disappointed as I really liked to have to snake my way up but it is much easier now. Dylan is on the gas while he corners but that only works then there's a wide space otherwise the trees will get you. I definitely took advantage of Dylan's motocross experience to learn a few things. There was an exchange of knowledge which is great!
Thank you very much! I have to agree with you on that. I love the sound of the Sherco. You should hear it when I put the race mode on. It's such a big difference between the traction mode and the race mode.
My man Craig! Looking good getting out there learning new stuff. I bet that bike feels a little lighter than the 1100. He's lucky to have such a great instructor.
That woods weapon (Beta 200) is actually quite amazing. Super light, more power than you would believe and even has some low end grunt which is atypical for a smaller engine. I love this riding spot! And an 1100 in there would be atrocious!!!!
Oh I was in 2nd. Camera doesn't do justice to how steep this is. I did it again later and nearly cleared it with less speed. There was a root that deflected the rear end if you were too fast and because my skills are not super amazing, I couldn't recover.
