I am so impressed with how the police handled this situation. This should be a training video for every police department. I get so angry seeing videos of the police getting so angry or trying to talk back to people or suspects they are interacting with. It is so undisciplined and immature of officers and police departments and law enforcement overall should be held accountable when they use the inherent power and authority they possess do anything illegal or bully people unnecessarily. I think there is no excuse for police getting all ramped up emotionally or taking offense to any situation. I have respect and really have no idea how police deal with this stuff every day. It has got to really get to you. But, the point of being a trained professional is you don't react that way. You deescalate where it is possible, you are careful, you follow the law yourself, you don't take things that are said personally, and you just do the job you were hired (and hopefully trained well) to do. So, my default position is to watch these videos and get ready for the police escalating (vs de-escalating) situations or flat out inappropriately use their power (or even commit illegal acts that no civilian would be able to get away with). This video....I can't say enough good things about how the police handled this. (And that is saying a lot because I RARELY see the good things with these videos...and perhaps that's my own ignorance but I've seen enough to know that police doing the wrong thing is not some rare occurrence and the system and police departments should never let anything wrong happen without seriously taking action to make sure it doesn't happen again.) In this video, the police officers stayed cool the entire time. They did the best to answer questions but did not engage. I'm sure they had human emotions when they were being verbally attacked and when this woman was in their face and not following lawful instructions to these officers that were simply doing their jobs. She did not respond positively to them handling things calmly with her. She kept ramping it up. They stayed cool long after I think I could ever do so. They did not engage in a high-speed pursuit which I cannot think of a reason that should ever happen because of the danger that creates to the general public. I don't care who the police are chasing (think of the worst criminal ever)....if my innocent family was killed or injured that just happened to be in the path of a frantic suspect fleeing and police chasing after....there can be no reason I could just accept that as okay....just pick up the person another time but don't put innocents in danger just to ramp up the emotions and chase after someone with heavy vehicles just because they won't stop. So, letting this woman go is very unique. And, at least to me, so logical.. You'll pick her up later. Yes, she did end up hitting a car but compared to chasing her throughout the city in some high speed chase...it's so much better. And, she got picked up later without risking the lives of the rest of us. Sorry for the long comment. It's just that I wish every police department handled situations as well as this. Y'all know that most of what we see on RU-vid (I've seen many hundreds if not more), this could have been a violent and dangerous situation if it was a different department. Thanks for this reaction. Love the channel.
i don't even know where to start bruh...i felt like this was freddy got fingered, napleon dynamite, superbad and step brothers all rolled up into one movie. lol he calls his parents roommates?...does he pay rent? that's the only way that it could pass for the bare minimum as a technicality. and a racecar bed as an adult in your parents' house is cringy bruh...this was hard to watch. i never even had a racecar bed as a kid, and i feel like i missed out on a part of my childhood watching this. lol and here's the moment...that dude was the definition of down bad, to use an action figure of a female and do that...and then lil jon to the windows to the wall all over his friend's mom's face...and he still spent the night. she or his friend didn't kick him out...bruh wth is this bruh? lol
I have the weirdest crush on JP! I can't help it, I wanna domme him so bad lmfao, sorry for not keeping this PG but I gotta tell my truth here lmfaoooooo
Great reaction guys! My favourite movie. Also you both nailed the Wallace scene. Wallace left Vince to get coffee and donuts. Left his gun. Vince was on his own and decided to take a s*&%. If you guys liked this movie, you'll LOVE "a similar one of Tarantino's movies, its called "Jackie Brown". Made in 1997.
I'm thinking that the kid is Puerto Rican. I think I remember reading somewhere that a lot of Puerto Ricans emigrated to NYC from the end of WWII to the mid 60s.
The actress who plays Mrs. MacHenry, Marian Waldman, appears in a comical part in another good horror film from 1974 titled Deranged. 1974 was an excellent year for horror films, with Black Christmas, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Deranged, and Let Sleeping Corpses Lie being a few notable titles.
Steven Spielberg's classic horror, that kept a lot of people out of the water, for a movie in the 70's, this would have been even more scare than it is today
He did it and they let him slip through their fingers ! Dont you guys make the same mistake by letting these movies slip through your fingers........ Blue Collar - Richard Pryor The Brave - Johnny Depp Nightcrawler - Jake Gyllenhaal The Game - Michael Douglas American Psycho - Christian Bale Cult classics
I go through phases of watching react channels, but I almost never subscribe because most of the time I don't want them filling up my recommended. But you two are fantastic. You don't talk in the middle of dialogue, you pause to talk and are actively engaged with the plot, you pay attention and you genuinely enjoy the act of watching movies. I'll risk the annoyance of my recommended being annoying for awhile. Subbed.
He only knows the lowrider song by War because of George Lopez show. I knew the lowrider song way before George Lopez. I guess he doesn't hear much music.
Quint’s speech about the USS Indianapolis back in 1945 was 100% true. That was the largest shark attack in history. Over 800 U.S sailors were killed by sharks in the Pacific Ocean. Some died of dehydration but most were killed by sharks. They were out there in open water for over a week just floating & hoping someone would find them. Their mission was to deliver Hiroshima bomb, so it was a secret mission & not on the books. So none of the higher ups knew to look for them when they never came back to port. That’s the reason quint broke the radio was because of his experience on the USS Indianapolis. Quint hated sharks because of what happened to him & never wanted to admit defeat. His story rivals the story told in the novel, “The old man & the sea”. Lastly, to truly understand why people love this movie, you’d have to have been there back in 1975. Jaws is the movie that started the summer blockbuster film trend. Before Jaws there was no such thing as the summer blockbuster. Jaws came out before Star Wars. Jaws was the film that made Hollywood start making films geared strictly towards summer audiences. This made over 400 plus million dollars back in 1975. Plus, when this came out there was a massive heat wave on the east coast. Folks desperately wanted to go to the beach to cool off but were too afraid to go in the ocean. This was a time long before Air Conditioners was widespread. Back then Folks simply couldn’t afford Air Conditioning, so during the summer, families went to the beach during the summer months. Jaws made so many people deathly afraid of going to the beach & into the ocean. You simply had to be there to experience it. No movie or rather nothing was ever like this back then. It freaked out so many people. We also can’t forget that Jaws was inspired by true events as well. The Shark attacks back in 1916 in the state of New Jersey. I believe 5 or 6 people, including children, were killed in under a week. Jaws is beloved by millions of people. It’s one of the greatest movies of all time.
One of my very good friends live in Joplin. During the last tornado, she was in middle of divorce and she and her son were living in her salon. They made it out but, her home where her ex was staying was leveled.
