I owe the training staff at KM a big time shout out as their teaching prowess and positivity are off the charts. The VIBES methodology, the coaching (e.g. yes, no, maybe approach to each question), and the comprehensive, easy-to-consume KM SIE content set me up for success right out of the gate.
I read on the FINRA website that Series 79 has 75+10( Not graded) = 85 questions and is 2.5 hours long. I am not sure why the gentleman here is saying it has 185 questions and is 5 hours long.
Clarification on Rule 147: An issuer must satisfy one of these requirements to be eligible for the Rule 147 intra-state offering exemption: 80% of the issuer's assets must be in the state 80% of the issuer's revenues must be generated in the state 80% of the proceeds of the sale of securities must be used in the state A majority of the issuer's employees are located in the state The issuer is not required to satisfy all of these, just one must be satisfied.
I took the SIE last week. Finished with 3 flagged questions and 45 min to spare. Read all of Kaplan and Achievable material. Definitely recommend these two. I passed on the first try and I am NOT a test taker.
