Rather, get an old Ford. Remember, everyone, if it wasn't for the government, Chevy would be out of business. Let capitalism work. We will be better off.

If you pay attention you will see a lot of these trucks still on the road, it’s probably 90% of 30+ year old vehicles you’ll see.

My ‘05 f150 has 120k miles. I looks and runs fantastic! Most strangers think it is a much newer model. I maintain it and if something breaks…it gets fixed. I have not replaced it in the past for the same reasons you talked about. Recently, I’ve been thinking about selling it and buying a new Subaru and take a bunch of trips with my bride of 40 years. Nah…we’ll take the truck on longer trips and her little hybrid for shorter trips…can’t imagine having a car payment😅! THANK YOU!!!

Note: the faster you charge a battery.. the faster they will 'die' (in the long run..) they like to trickle charge. Same with any electronics. Its just a new way of thinking about 'power'

That is so strange that your mechanic was not able to do that job himself and that he actually took out the magnet any mechanic knows that that would actually destroy your engine completely that is so strange I've never seen anybody do that other than on camera intentionally under some kind of dateline investigation thing or something lol

This is a workhorse if knife is your main tool needed, pliers are so usable, saw and file size are spectacular.

The blade should always be you main tool of any multitool. No you are not overthinking. The blade should be more center.

I have the 5.7 350 TBI. I love this truck, its drives & runs great & hasn't failed me yet.

03 Denali with 280k miles. Me and the previous owner have done regularly scheduled maintenance, including changing ALL of the fluids and it’s still on its first engine and tranny. Tranny is starting to have some very minor slip but nothing some Lucas can’t fix for now. When it doesn’t slip it shifts like when it was brand new. Other than that and needing a new alternator (still has the original one), it still runs like a dream. It’s amazing how regular fluid changes has let a transmission that is quite known for breaking down make it this far. Do your maintenance, people!

I have a 97 1500 W/T with close to 200K miles on it. Runs like a top and drives like new. Paid $2500 for it about 8 years ago. Not mint, but overall not bad. Not a daily driver, just there when I need it, but it could be one. Even though you replaced the engine, it’s a fraction of the costs of an EV battery.

I got a 2007 Ford Freestyle last year. Only 50k miles, got it for $5,000. Had 2 owners they really didn’t treat it well but minor things I did with the car….it runs very well. Su dar so good. The older vehicles were better built.
