The spings on my truck for brake and clutch pedal had been removed and I dont know how they go. Do you think you can take a video of how the links and springs go for the pedals??
@smokengearsgarage
@smokengearsgarage Месяц назад
Just made a video today with the truck. I included a part pointing out the spring locations and there for ya and hope to have it uploaded this week. Ill comment on here the time in the video so you can go directly to it. Both springs hook to separate brackets on the frame toward the front of the truck and the clutch spring hooks to the linkage outside of the bell housing and the brake spring hooks to the clevis on the master cylinder.

I have to try this one out. I just got the hybrid solutions ceramic spray and I'm really happy with it. I recommend that one as well to add another layer of protection to your truck 👍

I've been working on a 1948 Loadmaster 1 1/2 ton truck and I could find everything for the rear brakes except the rear main seals. Where were you able to find those?
@smokengearsgarage
@smokengearsgarage 4 месяца назад
I believe I was able to get a number off of the ones I removed, and the parts store was able to cross them over to a new part number. That store is no longer in business. I could try and look back in my files and try to find a part number.

In case anyone needs to know… Bad motor mounts will cause a knock therefore cause a knock sensor check engine code.

Gotta be careful with them there old and rotted rag joints with the too small diameter nuts and bolts that break with great fury as you drive straight into the jersey barrier and the twelve bolt rear end axle backing plate and tire fly over the roof and down the highway ahead of your spinning 1967 Camaro R/S. Taxi ! ?

Usually the rear one goes out and the front ones fine. Its from water collecting and puddling in the back. You can easily cut and splice then together and your doing good. I'm regurgitating but there's a video out there on RU-vid and someone who deserves credit. I spliced mine 50+ k miles ago and it has been good
