I'm a returning player and pretty much everything is similar to where I would expect it to be at either my level, or at the high level, or both. The exception in my experience is the firecracker because of how easy it is for her to deal splash damage to the tower.
I don’t agree with you on the goblin barrel. Sure, it might be easy to predict, but as for example Ryley said it isn’t meant to be used in bait but rather in split lane decks specifically designed for it. Also, it’s an evo that requires a lot of skill and knowledge, so without a lot of experience it can seem weak but after playing with it for a while it starts to become stronger (kinda like with evo mortar)
You also unintentionally explained the issue. It's meant in these split lane decks (which is mainly recruits) but these decks aren't good anymore. I mean you can see the evo recruits in F-Tier. If these decks become good, then I expect the Evo to be okay aswell but right now that's not the case. Plus, these decks already have competition because they like evo archers, wallbreakers and firecracker. So even if the archetype is good, it's not clear if goblin barrel is the best evo to use in there. Right now it's not playable in logbait so it's not playable in any meta deck.
Little prince isn’t going to be useable anymore, you use the little prince for its ability, either responding, a guardian, the knockback, or the charge damage. All of these have gotten nerfed since it’s release
Whatever list tbh. Firecracker is easily b tier, recruits should be d tier with wall breakers, bats are c tier, archers are definitly an a tier. The rest are fine
I see your perspective on the Evo barrel, but the thing is, the clones do just as much damage as the regular, especially if it is a split lane push like recruits. So if you have a tank for the clones, or even just fake then out with a freeze, it would definitely be a viable option to use for an Evo slot.
Hot take: the Evos should be reworked so they cost 1 more elixir to play but also get their old stats back that way there would at least be a trade off for putting them in the deck
so because evo firecracker and evo mortar get countered by spells they are bad but evo skellys are even worse for spells but they’re the best??? lol ok
evo skellys can be split so it sometimes requires 2 spells to kill them. Also they only cost 1 elixir but the spells to counter them cost 2 or more, so you always have positive elixir trade
@@realityblood this tier list is based on how good these cards are when you use them to their full potential, ie, top ladder. The fact that most of the top 10 players in the world are using evo skellies shows how good they are.
i heavily disagree on the goblin barrel one because i think it's not meant as a "stronger" version of it but rather a way to mix it up, it's more pressure/threat which encourages the overwhelming aspect of bait, a master of bait would probably make annoyingly great use of the goblin barrel
Well, i am a main Miner evo wallbreakers user, and its pretty frustrating to know that it is so bad now. I still use it because i mastered this deck, and now i just poison cycle or use evo wb on defense, since they can kill minions, goblins and kite. Ik they were probably the best evo some seasons ago since they were just unfair. But literally EVERY card they add into the game is a top counter for them. I would like to see a runner damage buff or a default stage hp buff. Something really small, like 10%.
Boss, after the balance changes, the duchess won’t be able to full counter evo wallbreakers anymore, so why did you decide to finally take the balance changes into account when you did the evo knight? 💀
i actually wish more of the evolutions were c/f tier strength and acted just like a small bonus for the cards players would already otherwise use, rather than being strong enough to be the sole reason that the card is used. it’s more excusable for cards like the wizard or archers where the standard card had little to no optimal use at high level play, but many s/a tier evolutions improve the card too much for its elixir cost and/or were already popular enough to not need such a strong evolution imo.
Something about boss I don't like It's only from top ladder he says what cards are "op" or not Evo skeleton were always broken But because u see 6 out of 10 people finished with it doesn't mean I wasn't broken all this time Try to analyze how powerful a card is even if u aren't seeing in used What u said for Evo bomber is literally what people do with Evo firecracker so I don't understand why one is so much better than the other No hate just saying my mind
To make evo barrel better, they just need to make the dummy goblins health same as regular goblins otherwise dagger duchees just 1 shots the dummy goblins which is useless
Evo Barrel is even worse because the decoys get no damage against Dagger Duchess, and you can tell the fake or real barrel if your opponent has the star level upgraded (the real barrel is yellow)
Seems like a pretty perfect list, I would just put bolin barrel evo a bit higher as the evo makes it a split lane push card attcaking both towers so in some time or maybe someone has already made a strong deck combining piggies or recruits with goblin barrel evo. Also won't put skellys in S because a lot of times they just die to random troops themselves, earlier maybe they were stronger but with hitspeed nerf and spawn nerf makes them pretty average imo. They have always been countered easily by spells, I would say they are used in top ladder just for their defensive potential as if spell isn't in rotation they could get value but offensively they just die. I have even seen them dies to barbs, recruits or even some random melee troops because of how slow the combination of slower hit speed and not spawning a skelleton if it dies nerf did
I guess evo Knight is still the best choice. Even though he got nerfed several times, he's still super versatile and works well with drill. But that's up to you
Theres a few options. Evo Knight, Evo Skeletons, Evo Tesla and Evo Bomber are all fine choices depending on the variation you want to play. The rest depends on you so pick the evo that you will enjoy the most.
