Hello tppo! I am a Japanese viewer. Forgive me if my writing may be poor in translation... Can you please add Japanese subtitles to this video as well? I felt there is a lot I can learn from this video even with not understanding the language. Please..! If you have time...! Please do...!😭
Just remember there's hard and soft edges and if the light is coming from above and the light is so strong in hits to a place where there was not suppose to be lighting
It is a shame there aren't any ideas on how to save time with, well, painting. Or mixing painting and 3D more. Your videos always reference other artists in your videos, so if I may suggest, Guweiz's tutorials could be a good subject for a video when it comes to fast painted backgrounds
Damn! this was such an amazing and helpful video! I cannot stress this enough but i've been drawing since i was little and began to do digital art when i was around 11 years old. This video truly helped me like no others could in my whole life drawing, it teached me what i wanted to understand so bad i swear sometimes i wanted to cry because of how frustrating can something become when you don't get the reasons behind the techniques, now i can reflect all the knowledge i got from this vid in my art pieces while being completely aware of what i'm doing in the process. I will use this and those books you suggested to complement and improve the illustration/drawing class i give in my university. And again: Thanks a lot, for real! <3
this video helped me out a lot, tks man. I wonder if you can make a tut how to paint like ahriii from x, I'm really obsessed with her art style. It's okey whether you do it or not,tks again.
saw your Genshin art in person at the event! I already thought that it was great but it’s amazing to know that you’re constantly working to improve and already creating more with the new tools you’ve showcased here. I really like the final piece you did and this def helped make backgrounds way less intimidating c:
While it does sound sweet to be able to draw quickly and everyday, unfortunately you will burn out so you need to be careful and make sure you take breaks too. It's unfortunate, especially if you love drawing and wanna spend all day drawing like me,unless you wanna burn out and die internally for weeks, then avoid it!
traditional artist: 👁️👄👁️ me as both: 👁️👄👁️👍 (here's a tip of mine that sometimes works and sometimes don't!) When i got new idea i'll go to Pinterest first and looking for a background art that fit with my idea the most and draw my idea base on that background more so it fit in with the background quite perfectly when i add the background in (traditional is the same but i trace the background on the paper instead of add the background in like digital, work most of the time for me but i don't know about you and it took me quite much time try to looking for a background that fit in) That's my small personal tip thanks for reading this!
My favourite of the test backgrounds is the one done in Blender... Simple but gorgeous! And I'll definitely check out FIMO. Those filters simulating different camera film look really cool
