A wonderful video! Hello I am part of a tv program production team, from South Korea. We would like to use a part of your video for introducing Iceland. Can I send over details via e-mail? Thank You.
Complementi per il video: Bellissime le immagini. Straordinario il rumore del vulcano. Grazie per far sentire il vulcano e farci vedere la velocità delle colate .... Così ci sembra di essere lì
I followed this eruption from the first week to the very end - end didn't find your fantastic video until today!!! Great shots, great description! I'll share it to my Iceland-volcano-community and I hope, you get a lot more likes! Greetings from Germany!🙋🏼♀️
Complimenti per questo video...... molto bello......evidenzia il contrasto tra l'impeto devastante della lava e la rigogliosità dei fiori nella loro intensa bellezza!!!! 🔥🌋🌷🌷🌷🦋🐞
Amazing a spectacular sight - thanks for sharing. I was there last week - and nothing apart from thick fog and rain. But no sooner than I leave the country and the volcano comes back...
It looks like the lava will reach the road and the sea. Regardless, it would be good to do some experimenting on this flow to see how others could be stopped. For what it is worth, I came up with an idea to redirect lava flows by setting off explosions in the lava flow and, at the same time, spraying water on the point of explosion. The explosion would send fresh hot lava into the air and the water being sprayed on it will cause a further explosion as it hits the hot exposed lava, creating a major cooling effect so that the hardened lava chunks can form a massive enough pile to act as a dam. I made a video on an earlier version of this idea. I expounded the new idea with more detail in a comment below that video (pinned to the top). You can find the video by googling "redirecting lava flows friar roderic" Let me know what you think. Stay safe.
Wow, it’s flowing so must faster. I thought you sped up the film, but when I slowed down the playback, the wind sound was all wrong. Great capture of the the drips above the flow when you held the camera in one place. Thanks!
Fantastic! Have been grateful to the amateurs who've been on site for providing their videos, but it's good now to have a professional videographer there.
Hi there. Derek with EBU News in Geneva, Switzerland. Hope you are safe. I am currently working on a story and would really like to include your video. Is this your video? If so, may we have permission to use your video as per news-exchange.ebu.ch/clearance, please?
Thank you very interesting to see one this regular episode with an another angle. Lava emission decrease but not sop because with webcams we have the impression the flow is interrupted. So during the phase of calm the magma is enough high in the vent to sustained lava flow ? The intensity can be compare with the foutaining of the SE crater of Mt Etna ?Thanks so lot for sharing,
