I want to know,in cases we not turn on AC then cooling fan not working cause overhead cooling system have or not ? 2. Do we need AC run all time when engine working? Thanks for your advise
The radiator fan is always running when the ac is turned on. Radiator fan also runs when ac is off and coolant reaches a minimum temperature. You do not need to run ac all the time, the cooling fans will turn on automatically.
I have a p0340 code for cam sensor on my 4.3l 2008 Silverado. Changed cam sensor/alternator and new plugs and wires. Has a misfire at cold start. Would a misfire cause the cam sensor code to pop up? It will not go away for the life of me. Wiring is good as well.

Hi Alex. So my Dash lights went out again. I took the Dimmer switch out, cleaned it contact cleaner bent the prongs out. This time no Dash lights. I cut connector off, wired the 2 red wires together and taped off the black wire. Still no Dash lights. Do you know if there is a Dash light fuse by any chance? It’s a 98’ Nissan Sentra, your technique has worked every time, except this time. I was hoping by connecting the 2 red wires, that it would be a permanent fix. Any suggestions?
My 05 5.3l has the 4l60e is shifting hard 1-2 but only after an hour of sitting in traffic. Done it on two instances now. Hopefully this is my issue. The transmission is brand new so the only other thing i can think is the solenoids.
I have a multiple misfire, fixed anything there is to do with it and still it's happening. Don't know why and the parts are new. Any advice before it gets officially sold?
Pretty sure it's not advisable to use car engine oil in the wet clutchs of motorcycles as the anti friction additives can make the clutchs slip, certainly was the case in 79s & 80s when I worked on bikes, cheers
Have same bike. .also need gas cap, and oil plug bolt. Pls lemme know where u found good gas cap replacement. Thiet website only sells screw on, or fill kit with ignition switch
I got the same bike. Cleaned carbs , changed oil , and it was running going into 4th of 5th gear and the bike stopped running with power. Turns on but when it goes into first it doesn’t rev and so it wants to shut but has enough power to move 5mph. Any idea ?
Mine only has a delay when I put it in drive and then takes a couple seconds to engage then I can drive please tell me it’s that sensor so I can go buy it tomorrow 😢
These are good trucks as long as you drive them once a week to keep the lines from getting a gunky. I think mine was messed with by a stupid teenager at one time, when I got it there was a soldering iron made from the cigarette lighter yes a soldering iron and no I don't know what the person was doing with it and the shifter was sloppy and that is from a teenager banging gears hard like the first fast and the furious movie 2001. I'm waiting for it to be fall and I'm going to get into it one last final time and that's it and I mean it. What I'm going to do is replace the oil psi sensor again and go buy a new throttle body because I've talked to some s10 2.2 motor people but they are expensive mechanics very expensive mechanics and they told me you will never ever ever just replace an air idle control valve and then it's running smooth again between gear shifting. They told me the throttle body is bad.
Mine sounded IDENTICAL. Exactly the same. Tore the trans out to look. It was loose flywheel bolts. It did the same noise EXACTLY how yours sounds. I did a clutch as well and shortly after it started to sound like this. I guess I forgot to torque the flywheel bolts. When I was pulling it in the garage it stopped moving and the sound went away . They finally all let go and sheared. The noise came from the flywheel teeth hitting the starter.
Did a LS swap in my 83 C-10, LS2 with a 4L80E Transmission and after having my Transmission rebuilt for a second time, it is doing this same exact thing 🤦🏾♂️. Shifting EXTREMELY hard from 1st to 2nd. We just put 373 gears in it and I had it tuned again after doing that so I thought this hard shift problem may be in the tune. But after finding this video, I think this may be my problem. I’m going to get this replaced first and see if this fixes my problem. I sure do hope so because I’m about ready to give up on this LS Swap 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️.
What things you said are good. It's the belt,clutch,carb that goes bad. 4 belts,2 clutch, 4 carbs. Still all the rest are 3 years old and still running.
I’m not looking to bypass but just service the switch. Hopefully I don’t have to buy another switch with this fix as they are going for 150+ usd. I hope I don’t break it bc my gauges are working but the rest of the stuff on instrument panels don’t .
I have replaced fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor button, plugs, plug wires, and ignition coil and it’s still throwing a code for misfires!!! HELP!!!
