Join the journey of self-discovery and empowerment with tools, insights, and inspiration to ignite and attract positive change in your life and the world around you. These practices have transformed my life. And I want to help and inspire YOU to do the same.
I've seen this phenomenon so many times. I've probably done it myself without realizing. The key to stopping it, as with most things, is awareness, borne of mindfulness.
This is a compassionate way to think about how to react to someone who is angry. Lead with curiosity. Especially as a couple. And you two are adorable together.
@@choosing_love yes! It’s like that line from the Natalie Layne song Grateful For… ”It’s not always easy to see the good, when it doesn’t look the way I think it should.” But it’s still there!
Such a great message! Gratitude always makes me more resourceful with what I have and that's my favorite part. Leaving this video feeling uplifted and motivated for my day ❤
There's something nostalgic and comforting about the days before smartphones took over our lives. Back then, everything felt more organic-conversations were more genuine, and we weren't constantly distracted by notifications, social media, or the urge to capture every moment on camera. We were more present in our interactions and experiences. It was a time when people could truly disconnect and enjoy the moment without the constant pull of a digital world in their pockets. Life seemed simpler, and the connections we made felt deeper.
Well said Nadia, thank you for your valuable insights on this! It makes you wonder if the benefits of “technology” are even worth it in the first place
I'm glad it resparked your love of reading! My reading list is on my phone, so I don't know how I'd do that though. 😆 An important exercise and even the days you did were impressive!
Thank you! 🧡 Yeah so far it totally has, and I’ve even started a list of books I wanna read or have been recommended. Once you start talking books with people, there’s so many great recommendations that come!
@@choosing_love if you're looking for a way to keep them all organized, I love using The StoryGraph app. Plus it'll generate books it thinks you might like based on your list and ratings! (I realize the irony of suggesting an app on a video when you gave up your smartphone. In my defense, there is a desktop version!)
Love this!! 👏🏻👏🏻 have you ever watched any Bryan Scott content? Or Joseph Rodriguez?? They make a lot of connections between the Bible and manifestation
Embodiment of depression 😂 healthy food doesnt need to be boring or depressing. 😂 well done for doing it anyway and wanting to continue with some of the healthy habits.🎉🎉
my advice after losing a fair bit of weight dieting. Never go hungry! theres always something that can fit within your goals which will keep you full. Also, sometimes you have to satiate that taste/craving hunger to prevent a big binge on stuff outside of your goals. A balanced diet includes treats!
@@dylanc5835 I really like that, I’ve been kinda doing that with celery and hummus, which I think is a pretty decently healthy snack and it makes me full! Great advice thanks for sharing
I’m thrilled to see you taking steps to become healthier and striving to be the best version of yourself. I’m also very mindful about what I consume daily. And I agree, it’s perfectly fine to enjoy different foods occasionally in social settings. My sister struggled with her weight but transformed her lifestyle, going from 150 kilos to 65. Her difficult journey showed me just how important it is not to ignore our health and not wait till it goes really wrong.
I appreciate that, and wow that is very inspiring of her. Yes, if my goal is to live a vibrant life, I’ve got to eat better to help make that a reality!
I love that you guys are reviewing what you’re good at!! Sometimes I get stuck thinking about what I need to improve on. It’s a great mindset shift. Also, my in Laws are Russian and can have a hard time feeling included or unable to keep up with the conversation😂 my husband is also great at filling in the blanks for me. Great episode!!
@@choosing_love I know more than most Americans, not enough to keep with the fast paced conversations 😂 I understand a word here or there and sometimes can get the general idea of a conversation
Ok, jicama is widely misunderstood. Squeeze lime over it, salt it a little, dip it in salsa or hummus. I ate a lot of it when we lived in Mexico. Tajin on jicama is good too. YOU CAN DO THIS. You are worth it.
A good way to deal with anger is not to act under its influence. Don't do anything, don't say anything, don't think. It's better to just do useful things, wash the dishes, walk the dog, switch to something constructive. The hot anger will go away faster than we think)
It's about enjoying the journey and not the destination. 100% trust the process. Small wins; celebrating small wins and practising gratitude ! Love your vibe Can i ask what microphone do you use? The sounds is on point 😅
thanks for watching! Glad you enjoy the vibe! 🫶 I'm crazy and have like 3 different mics haha. This particular one is a very inexpensive one on amazon that I was testing out: amzn.to/3SoF0nH So far, I think it is pretty good after some light audio editing.
It’s so true!!!! Also, on the idea of thinking there’s no movement on your manifestation just because you can’t SEE movement reflected in the 3D: so many times there are tectonic shifts happening underneath the surface, and we are actually interrupting the momentum being built by constantly checking in. I love the John Green line from The Fault in Our Stars - “I fell in love like you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.” What’s the biggest thing that will keep you from falling asleep? Constantly glancing over at the clock and stressing about why you’re not asleep yet! Drawing in manifestations is just like that. You have to relax and let the Universe follow the law! 😊
Seriously love this, thank you! And that's a great quote. The flow of life & blessings always comes through for us if we just get out of it's way. So crazy that we self-sabotage so often...
Heading towards financial freedom is essential to having a quality life. Living a life where you can focus on what truly matters - pursuing your passions, spending quality time with loved ones, and not having to choose between buying groceries or that fancy coffee. I must say, I absolutely love your videos and your positive attitudes! They are a source of inspiration and motivation!
Aw thank you so much, I’m so glad you are here. 🧡 Well said about financial freedom and the overall importance of it. I thank you for your wonderful thoughts and inspiring messages as well!
A lot of my past “anxiety” and “resentments” stemmed from a lack of setting boundaries or following through with them. It’s so uncomfortable at first to say no, but once you do it- a lot of those secondary problems disappear. And my life is so much more peaceful when I’m happy with myself and my own decision making!! Great episode
I love this message. I get through crisis and general sucky things that happen by actively looking for the lessons or other positive aspects as a way to make sure that I don’t miss the good nuggets. If you’ve never seen the movie “Collateral Beauty” see it ASAP. It speaks to this in the deepest of ways. Gratitude IS a game changer!
It is always a challenge to maintain a positive outlook on life when faced with difficulties. The learning process is rarely easy, and it's natural to feel overwhelmed at times. However, these tough moments are often the ones that teach us the most and help us grow stronger. I actually have a video that resonates deeply with what you're saying. It delves into the ways we can navigate through life's challenges and come out more resilient on the other side. I hope you don't mind if I share the link here? I believe it might provide some valuable insights and encouragement to this great community!
