Best way to view Matt's sight is that he can't really watch films for example without audio description. But he can know where things and people are miles away through walls. Being able to smell and hear creates an impressionistic painting. He receives all sorts of stimulation which gives him so much data of his surroundings. I've seen some people say his lie detector doesn't make sense. But that's only of you only think about the heartbeat. But there's more going on. It's smell and temperature and breath he's detecting as well as the persons voice.
I thought the season was amazing. It really showed me who the real villian of this story is. I can't wait for season 3 to watch the story unfold. #TEAMBLACK 🖤
You should Google “how does Daredevil see” or something close to that. There are a few not great articles about it, but there’s one that was probably an AI article but got all the details right that talks about his “radar sense, proximity sense, and sonar sense.” I’m not going to go into all the details, because I don’t know them all that well and I’d just be re-explaining these articles. But the main takeaway I got: he could tell EXACTLY where a physical, “3D” television is relative to where he is. But he could never tell you ANYTHING about the 2D image displayed on the screen. Apparently in the comics he got his “real” sight back a few times and he wanted to go back to being visually blind every time because his other senses allow him to “see” a lot more effectively. In a lot of ways he sees better than someone without visual sight, but he really is blind in the traditional sense. Put him in a room with five other people and he’ll know EXACTLY where those five people are at all times. But ask him to point out the one wearing a red shirt and he won’t have a clue.
and no they are not, they don't even have conversation about anything. There is no mention of their loyalty. Only when all brothers die, Aegon makes a statue of them. That is not loyalty.
To me it seemed she does love John, but in a more platonic way; the kiss was a sign that it was not really physically arousing. In the end we could see why, as she stuttered when she was introduced to Michaela. I'm not a reader of the books, but I wellcome this twist, at least if the story that follows is a good one.
@FredtheFrisian hmmm. Yea I think I agree. Sometimes we confuse affinity with the opposite sex as love when it's really just friendship. But also it seemed during the season she was never really looking for love anyways. Idk though...
@@ReactandRoamwithKayla 391 / 5 000 He can't see. This is something else. He can only "see" or actually detect shapes in space. But he can't see colors, he can't see the sky and clouds, he can't see what's on the computer screen, phone or TV. He won't know what's on the picture. He can't read anything on a flat and smooth surface if he can't feel the print with his fingers. This is not real seeing.
Oscar was the mvp of the episode. I love that the dragons pick their riders. That last shot of Rhaenyra and the 3 dragons waiting on Aemond gave me life. Loved your reaction 🖤
@maurissafields1095 I 100% agree about Oscar. The kid who plays him is a great actor, he definitely has a bright future. I loved his sass with Daemon. Seeing Rhaenyra with all those dragons reminded me of how powerful Daenarys was. She inly rode one dragon but was able to "control" 2 others as well. I guess maybe because they were all born near her.
Ever since Cressida said she’s lw. I was like hell no Penelope should not give up writing to the girl who is bullying her since season one. She’s not worth it 😡.
@islandelafleur7727 Yea, at first I was like maybe this is Penelopes out and she can go be happy with Colin, but now I see why she couldn't let Cressida take the credit. So undeserving.
So the whole Rhaena thing was a little confusing; Rhaenyra is sending her youngest Velaryon son Joffrey to ward at the Vale with Lady Jane Arryn and is sending her youngest two (Daemon's sons) Aegon and Viserys to Pentos. Rhaena is to accompany Joffrey to the Vale and, because Lady Arryn's support came with the condition that they provide a dragon to the Vale for protection, they're bringing a couple of baby dragons with them. Then she'll take Aegon, Viserys, and the dragon eggs to raise in Pentos. (I'm like 80% sure I've understood it correctly but if anyone catches anything I got wrong let me know)
It’s the age-old question: if you are good, and you become powerful… shouldn’t you use your talent for good? Sounds alright… but power also corrupts (see “The Boys”)…so how long before the person with the power believes he/she deserves special treatment because of what they ‘do for others’? Matt is a good soul, despite or because of all the trauma he’s faced… so he seems incorruptible in that way, but ya never know for sure!
Agreed. It's a tale as old as time. You think your are morally upright and the only one that can make judgement. I'm only on season 2 so, so far Matt is still pretty level headed.
Your reaction to the Polin dream kiss was me exactly. I am loving all your reactions it's like I'm watching myself watch the show. Loving your reviews!
18:21 His excuse is that he was 10.....No. He said "the world outside our home was dangerous for young ladies" he knew that part when he was 10, but he conveniently did not notice she was being forcibly married to a senior citizen as a kid? As she was trying to escape, he took it upon himself to turn her in instead of remaining silent and let her escape in peace. Instead of protecting her as was his claim, he condemned Lady Danbury of decades of marital 🍇. I would be hard on him too, if he was the reason that prevented me from being saved from sleeping in the same bed with the old man. Let alone as a kid. Kid notice and KNOW a lot more than adults give them credit for. I heard of a case where a five year old figured out her grandfather was her father. (it was a video called My Father Proposed to me in front of my family)
I disagree. Marcus couldn't tell the future. Who could've known that her betrothed husband would be so terrible ( I mean he wasn't physically abusive, but very dismissive). I don't think a 10 year old would have that much fore thought like that.
@@ReactandRoamwithKayla In Queen Charlotte Agatha (Lady D) said something about her father arranging her marriage when she was like 3, and she was groomed until the actual marriage. That means that Marcus would have known about the betrothal and one would think he would be somewhat aware about how Agatha felt about it. I suspect Agatha would have been about 16 when she was married (maybe 15? I think it too was mentioned in Queen Charlotte?), and to a horrible old man. Yes he was a boy of 10, but he was a boy afraid of his father... he did what he thought he had to do. It's horrible because both Marcus and Agatha were children and in an impossible situation. As an adult, you'd think that Lady Danbury would apply some reason (he was 10 years old) to the traumatic memory... but that's not how trauma works.
@@ReactandRoamwithKayla That's true very true. I was just pointing out that he knew what was going on. How could he not, she said she tried to escape the night before she was to be married as a kid to the old man. So I assume her brother was required to attend the wedding. He knew she was to be wed the next day, THAT NIGHT before the wedding, she tried to escape, which obviously meant she did not want to go through with it. Besides just think about what happened to her on her wedding night, as a kid. Just wanted to point that out. Great reaction videos by the way.
@@ReactandRoamwithKaylawell in the books the reason Otto was fired was cuz his plans were MOSTLY failing while with Cole they started to see some success
Seriously though... the amount of fans and reactors that comment on the "quickness" of Colin (and the Duke before him) is astounding. Guys, this ain't a p0rn! They cannot show 20mins of gr1nding and p*mping 🫤 It's clearly meant to be cut.
Awsome reaction girla. Not many a folk know how to do a proper reaction as it's not an easy task and Kayla I must say you have a unique talent and you know your GOT lore to boot so many props. I subbed instantly, so keep it up. Saludos de sLOVEnia.
Comparing Aegon to Joffrey is not even a close comparison at all Aegon is leaps and bounds better than Joffrey Aegon doesn’t kill for fun and amusement his only real problem is he wasn’t raised to become king he never wanted to become king because I don’t think he ever thought he was going to be king since Rhaenyra was supposed to take the throne
Aegon is more like Jaime, the redemption arc and so on, maybe a little bit more cunning and ruthless sometimes. Believe me Aegon is far of being stupid :D
@Alex-bz8lj it's an interesting creative choice to not even have him in the background being shown. For a non book reader when they do show him, it'll be offputting.
In my opinion Eloise is just trying to protect her family. Yes, she is self centered in not realizing Penelope has feelings for Colin. But Lady Whistledown humiliated Colin. Yes, she tried to protect Colin and Eloise from themselves but she also did this for money. In looking to have her own income Pen has proven to be very much like her mother, sensible. Penelope is very lucky to have love and financial security. I also must admit, to me, Penelope is brave. How many of us use our passions/ gifts instead of doing only the expected.
People complaining about the sex scene being ‘too much’ were the first ones to complain that there wasn’t enough in S2, that Kate & Anthony’s wasn’t detailed or overt enough, and also that you wanted more steamy scenes this season and feel short-changed. Do any of you even know what you want? Or is being contrary literally the only thing you know how to do online anymore? This whole discourse is so stupid. Just people complaining for the sake of it.
I read somewhere that some people consider "Allowing Them Their Space" an unofficial extra Love Language and I'm like "that's mine!" And also maybe Francesca's. Let the introverts REST.
