Yes. He finally saw her as a woman this season. That passion, coupled with the deep bond he already has with her... created a level of deep intimacy that he will never feel with anyone else. x
Cressida's father doesn't want her associating with Eloise because of the scandal from last season. (When Lady Whistledown wrote that Eloise had been attending "radical" political rallies about women's rights, etc.) Most of society has moved on and "forgiven" Eloise for her so-called scandalous actions, but Lord Cowper has not. He thinks Eloise will be a bad influence on his daughter. It's just a good thing that no one ever found out about Eloise meeting with Theo, because that's a scandal their society wouldn't have been able to overlook. Eloise's reputation never would have recovered from that. Love the way Queen Charlotte keeps upping her wig game! 😁 What would be funny is if Penelope's sisters both give birth to girls and Penelope winds up having the first boy. 🤣 Great observation about the love language Francesca and her suitor favor. I actually think Cressida and Lord Debbling would make a good match since neither one of them seem to be looking for love. Their marriage could be a practical one that would be beneficial to them both. I guess we'll see how or if it works out for them. I'm curious if we'll see him again, or if he's gone for good.
Ooo I really like your thoughts on Cressia and Lord Debling, I didn't even think that. But yes, that relationship would be "practical" for the both of them. But maybe Cressida is looking for love? I'm not sure yet, but I do see her having a change of heart this season.
@HuntingViolets It seems she's really understanding her dirty ways before and I could see her growing to being empathetic or even loving of other people. It's still really early in the show, but that's my guess.
Lady Danbury issues with her brother might not be all about his sex life. Remember the "Queen Charlottle" show? It was reveled that Lady was betrothed to Lord Danbury when she was 4 years old, the arrangement was clearly to benefit her family the Anderson's. So everything her brother Marcus has is because of her sacrifice, so that would make her feel bitter towards him especially if he had done something to risk their fortune.
Ahhh that makes sense too. I was also thinking about a comment her brother made when they were having tea and he said he only is able to talk to his servants. That leads me to believe maybe he's alienated his family (kids) somehow and is alone. This could be problematic for Violet.
Yes. It appears her mother was married off to a rich old man. Maybe her mother is pushing her hard so her daughter doesn't end up in the same situation.
That is not Cresita’s(sp?) mum. She is a widow. I don’t think she has kids. Benedict would be about 29. I assume the blonde woman is probably in her late 20s to early 30s same age range.
Cressida - and correct. No relation. That woman is a widow, true and she inherited her husband's estate. She can 'play around' if she wants to. I think she's in her 40's. I don't think Benedict is looking for a relationship at the moment.
The lady Benedict slept with is not Cresida's mother, that is a widow (remember she was the lady who had the crazy party in season one where the opera singer wore lingerie?
Girl you need to go to audio settings and click on "audio description", not sure is there any on laptop tho. He narrate scenes, and you can also hear his inner thoughts. It's so good
I think Penelope sisters will either give birth to girls but 1 of them may have a miscarriage, idk i feel like it's not just gonna be that easy. They are both naive and give Penelope a hard time all the time. I haven't read the books though.
I hope Mondrich hires a manager for the club and keeps it. The issue isn't owning the club - it is running the club, working behind the counter. It does suck that he cannot do as he wishes - but as you said, in this society you do yield to what is decided for you.
This is what I'm most worried about. If/when he finds out, how will his reaction be? I think he might try to isolate from her, maybe he will go to Eloise and will understand why they aren't friend anymore. My hope though is that Eloise is now back to warming up to Penelope so maybe Colin will too.
Violet only told Colin that Penelope might’ve been getting proposed to because it the last episode she could tell that Colin loved Penelope and was jealous of Debling courting her. He wasn’t actually gonna propose that night. Also, I don’t think a lot of people picked up that Pitbull’s Give Me Everything song was playing for the carriage scene.
Benedict isn't seeing Cressida's mom. Lady Tilley Arnold is a different character, a widow. It kind of cracked me up imagining Benedict with Lady Cowper, though. She's so stiff and the opposite of Lady Arnold.
@@ReactandRoamwithKayla I should have probably gone down the comments before commenting that, as others had pointed it out. I was just so startled. That would have been a different plot. :)
It’s great to see that Penelope is being seen. Collin is only interested because of Lord Debling. I want Penelope to have a life independent of her mother.
