Sounds like a great concept but for almost quadruple the price of standard tcm replacement I’ll stick to either a gm replacement or a dans replacement for a 1/3 of the price.
This is brilliant. I had this overflow issue happen to me. Fortunatley i caught it just as the fluid started spilling out. Ill be ordering one. Also, id like to say thank you for saving ats. The new ownership has really brought this company back
Doesn’t this need head studs , push rods , valve springs and injectors on top of either dual fuelers or a stroker pump along with a built trans and tuning ?
The Asin is a Allison on steroids much bigger components if you’re drag racing with over 700 hp the Allison is a POS no one seriously drag races anything but a built dodge 48re even in a GM truck a lightly modified Duramax a Allison will work but shifts to slow best thing if you want a Allison keep your truck stock ask your local drug dealer even he knows this obviously you don’t
In 2019 I put one of these units in my 47re (96 Dodge Ram w/6BT) and realized much better performance. In 2023 the 2nd gear band started to slip and ended up to need replacement. The transmission shop I use of course suggested a full rebuild which I went along with, new upgraded everything to a 2 stage transmission(w/ a 2 year/24 month warranty). While in there the shop owner also said they did not like the ATS GM Governor Pressure Solenoid Block Conversion Kit I had installed and replaced it with the Borg Warner upgraded Governor Pressure Solenoid set up. Since then (a year ago) I have experienced 1-2 and 2-3 shuttle shift issues like I had with the previous setup prior to the ATS GM Governor Pressure Solenoid Block Conversion Kit. Getting ready to take the truck back to the transmission shop and see what I can get them to do to address the situation.
What do you do about the intake on factory trucks, they have two inlets on the factory turbo, the ats has only one. Does the kit come with a block off for the extra inlet on the intake pipe? Also, 11-14 trucks have a waste gate, ats one doesn’t. Won’t that set a code on an emissions factory truck?
I ordered one yesterday. I believe the purple ATS plug in the kit photos on their website is the block off plug for the high speed air outlet on the lower intake manifold
I've had bad experience with this company. I never recommend them ! Bought 48re stage 1 and it was horrible build trans fluid was leaking from everywhere end up replacing 2 time they never pay for labor.

Well, about to find out what ATS is really about. My transmission threw P0700 & P0876 codes. My shop is telling me the problem is with the transmission itself. I’ll update as soon as I speak to ATS.
Highly Recommend this unit. I’m in Australia so it was going to be a longer wait for GM parts. The unit works perfectly and my truck is back on the Road. Big shout out to ATS Diesel for providing a great soloution to a really bad predicament given to us by GM.👍👍
We are not offering anything for a manual to automatic conversion. There are several forums on what you need to do to do that conversion and once that is figured out on your end, then our conversion will work.
