Would like it if you'd post some vegetable only dishes, No meat, no sugar. I really enjoy lots of vegies just don't have enough recipes. What's the difference between a pressure cooker & your cooker pot ? I don't understand.

Another great video. Thanks for sharing your pics of Lancaster. I live in PA about 4 hours from there and we are planning an overnight trip. We have a small Amish community about 1 hour from where we live and many of them sell produce and many other items right from their farms(they have their shingles out). Do you know if there are farms like that in the Lancaster area?

I buy my yellow and green scrubber sponges there, and have had success with budget lights of all types.Also buy the doggie pads for first aid and string mop heads and candles.

Part 2 sounds great! Some things are not practical for me, but overall very interesting and informative!

I bought an office chair for my daughter’s desk at an op shop this week for $7. I bought a bag of brown onions on sale and will dice them all to go in the freezer to use as needed when cooking.

I went to the feed store to buy some food for my chickens and there were 2 bags that had a slight tear in them and they gave me a 25% discount on each of them for a total savings of $11! :)

Loved your recommendations and I’m a bit bummed out that I missed the summer clearance sale at CVS. I wanted to share some thoughts on the London broil recipe you made, which by the way looked delicious. Adding a little red wine to the pot would add a nice flavor (just a thought), and second I used to buy baby carrots a while back but stopped after I learned how they prepare them - once they cut them up (they are actually regular carrots they cut to mini sizes), they are washed in a diluted chlorine solution to reduce the risk of bacteria and foodborne illnesses. You may sometimes notice some liquid in the bags, that’s what it’s from. Although the FDA approves the solution for human food prep, I have chosen to just buy regular carrots and cut them myself.

Could you please tell me what video the barley recipe is in I tried looking in the Playlists but not all your videos have the name of the recipe in the title. Thanks

To find specific recipes type the key word, in this case "Barley," into the magnifying glass on our home page and the videos will appear. Here is the Barley Bowl video I believe you are looking for ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CPMo1xzj7Tk.html

Onion soup mix and cup of water. You don't use ? Why? Sincere question! ❤😊
@FrugalMoneySaver

I appreciate your question. For us it's just filled with all kinds of chemicals and MSG. Ingredients- onions,salt, cornstarch,onion powder, sugar, autolyzed yeast extract (barley), caramel color, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, monosodium glutamate, corn syrup, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, sulfur dioxide (used to protect quality). Now, if you use it it's fine. I'm just explaining our reasoning. Just some onion and homemade stock give you the same wonderful flavor without the added chemicals.

@@FrugalMoneySaver ok yes! I get it ! I'd rather use the chopped ingredients and chicken broth too! ❤️😋 Thanks!

Can I ask you where you “hear” about the sales @ CVS, Hobby Lobby, etc…We no longer subscribe to a newspaper as the cost is astronomical.

I dont have a TV = money saver. I DO use rags, but I save on my water bill (and water resources) by using paper towels! I also save water by not using aprons. My clothing get stinky from the inside out, also, an apron doesnt save your clothing in the BARN! I want your composting bin - love it! I live in a tiny home and no longer have cookbooks - just use Google. I have a Ninja Foodi which is a combo of all the appliances (plus more) that you mentioned. Love my perennials. I have to have a full size freezer (even in a tiny house) because we harvest our own meat. I no longer have a wood burning stove, but I loved the one in my old home. Love jars! I have a digital scale for my soap making.

Dollar general has a $1 aisle. I go there and get toothpaste, hair detangle spray etc. Cheaper than DT!
