In essence the matrix movies are another form of propaganda by our favorite degenerate group: Hollywood. And wouldn't you know, we're all accepting AI and all the digital space that is, essencially, destroying the fabric of our social structures
"Merovingian" is mispronounced in the movies. As is "Zion". Pronounce the latter as you would "lion", other than the opening consonant. Merovingian, while the movie's pronunciation is understandable, it is inexpert. "Meronvinyen". "gi" blurred to together becomes "y", in certain cases.
One thing that is different in the neo we know path is the Oracle introduced something new in this Neo’s journey A love. She set up neo to fall in love with trinity. The previous neo’s didn’t have that. Which is why the architect made note of the difference.
I think the machines are pragmatic and don't care about the sky, once the sun no longer serves them. Plus, there is the fact it keeps humans from surviving on the surface.
The idea that machine sympathizers wer3 the first Matrix inhabitants makes... some sense. But I fear it falls apart under fairly specific scrutiny. The final human strategy is absurd unless the Matrix is waiting for them in the first place. Humans need the sun far more than machines do. And, quite frankly, a high school student from the 1950's could tell you the humans as batteries thing would never work. (I know the story of why in the real world but there does need to be some addressing of thew subject in canon or... well, people like me will keep pointing out the flaw.) Thus, I am going to posit a completely different theory. The machine vs humans war is complete fiction. We don't NEED such a war to destroy the sky and the environment. Humans are doing a perfectly good job of that NOW. In the quote unquote real world. So, to me, it seems more likely that the initial inhabitants of the Matrix were willing inhabitants but only by necessity. The Matrix pods were developed to house humanity until nature healed itself on the surface. IF Zion exists in the ral world and is not just another level of the Matrix, that obviously has not happened yet or may possibly never happen. Something may have gone wrong in the lands above. But, something definitely happened to the Matrix control programs AFTER humans went into virtual hibernation. Somewhere along the line something went horribly wrong. Did the kindly machined invent the war so that restless humans would have something to struggle with? Was there a machine power struggle with control of the humans at the center? No idea. BUT. The machine sympathizers answer seems too... simple. The machines are surrounded with layers upon layers of deception. Why should the war be any different? Why wouldn't it be just one more lie?
Isn't the train-man just a firewall? He controls traffic between the matrix and the external world/network. He is his own separate software and hardware and so is not bound to the rules of the Matrix or Neo. Neo basically gets stuck in a sandbox buffer (buffer/trains]. My theory as a computer scientist. The series is based entirely on the parallels between computer systems and society.
I was in my third year of university when The Matrix opened, I spent a few more years in higher education in philosophy and comp sci when the sequels came out I so disappointed people couldn't be bothered to use a dictionary, I expected the themes to be much deeper, but it was pretty 'you might be in a simulation 101" then the dumbdums dismissed it a nonsense when it was very simple what he was explaining. The sequels had problems, the architect scenes weren't the issue.
To me, that simp theory sounds about damn good, it would be a 'logical turn of event' where simps got what they asked for with their 'sacrifice to the cause'.
Yall do know that humans were never supposed to be batteries, right? Like, it never made any sense. The writers just caved to corporate demands cuz they thought the original reason would be too hard for audiences to grasp. Otherwise, there would literally be no point to having us with active minds. If we r just a power source, u just need the brain running enuf to keep basic bodily functions running. Humans were being used as gestalt computers. Our brains all got networked together to be used as combined processors and cloud storage that the machines own digital existence ran on. Molecular computers r way better than basic digital. Our own subconsciousness was running and housing the consciousness of the AI. Hence the reason awakened people can manipulate the matrix. Our own minds r the cloud storage from which the matrix is getting streamed for our viewing pleasure
Funny how the machines can combine humans to machines and make and do all of this other stuff but can't figure out how to clear the skies up. Just saying.
I agree with everything except what you said about the 4rth film...none of that script is supposed to be taken as canon, that's Lana's own words, not mine.

Intersting one! So the Trainman, with his conspicuous teeth and timeliness obsession is, of course, Alice in Wonderland's White Rabbit. In Revolutions he's the most important bouncer. I suppose that all came to pieces, as Merv's clothes, when they shot their complement The Keymaker ('There's always another way'). And so he might not be relevant because now everyone is an artist in Zucker^%%^%'s face%$%$%$, back then when there were barriers OGGGIGINALITY MAATTTTEEERRRED. 🧐
Imagine a mix between Mr.Robot and Matrix. Less superficial spectacle fighting (but some) and more thriller, scifi psychological horror, with some 1984 and others dystopian works.
Smith isnt a revolutionary smith wants yo end all life and destroy it.He doesnt want to rebuild anything he is nothing and a giant rat so he wants everyone to be nothing likw him
If computers never existed, then the simulation theory wouldn’t exist either, but we do live inside our own minds. Doesn’t that suggest “Simulation?” I’m a bit of an existentialist, but I’ve uploaded the debate in my Comunity Post. See free to share your views.
When i saw this story, it made me think, Zion was just another simulation of the matrix, they are all still plug into the matrix just in another version.
Could the Trainman be a previous edition of the One? Able to write his own code, infinitely more experienced than Neo, trying to build up his own army of sympathetic programs that aren't 'evil', pissed off when he sees the next iteration of himself (Neo) making the same mistakes, repeating the pattern?
The flaw with this is still that the machines are prepared to let the humans go extinct as the architect says “there are levels of survival we are willing to accept”. If the power runs out because there are no humans they can use geothermal like Zion, but if the humans are used to avoid a model collapse and they go extinct then that means death for the machines so this theory can’t work
When trinity was taken from machine city, she needed severe surgery to fix the sentinel arm impaling her, that means she could’ve had a potential child taken from her womb, the only way to determine if the machines implanted neo and trinities child into the matrix is to search for a brain chemistry that matches both neo and trinity, parents brain chemistry is almost identical to the child’s
