I am so glad I started going back to school. I was 35 years old and I am now 38 and will keep pushing forward. I will start nursing school in Sept. 2024. I will finish after with my bachelors and will go on from there! All by the grace of God! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
I don't know if NP is Worth spending all my life time for because i have tried youtube I associates and some others and still failed 4 attempt. I feel so frustrated don't know what to do anymore don't even have time for my own kids anv more💔💔💔😔😔
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the ANCC test last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mr Richard
What an inspiring story for any nursing student or someone considering to start nursing school. Thank you for sharing your story with us. And congrats to you 🥰
I applied for 4 consecutive years and nothing. I just called and if they feel you have a foreign accent, they will play with you. Literally , somebody by phone made me to spell my name 6 times , then hang me. I think nursing corp must be investigated by authorities. I had all the requirements and never i received a back call from them. I had high gpa, when i applied 3.97 undergrad in the usa. I think it surpasses the gpa of the lady on the video, and i was a physician previously in my birth country. I dont think that they are " competitive" i think they are "discriminatory" or just a scam.
@Ms.pretty314 i was a physician in latam, i studied for free because i got the equivalent to mcat with a very high score. I spent my first 10 years in the usa changing diapers to elderly for 12 dollars per hour as a cna. That is not high income
Something disgusting is that, despite her having put in a lot of effort to acquire her doctorate degree, she will still be barred from using the title Doctor in the clinical area, the reason being that a DNP degree is not a Medical doctorate!, I mean why the discrimination!
Awww I hate I’m seeing this for the first time. I am a FNP graduated June 2023, and I am having a hard time finding a grad friendly job. I think a fellowship really would give me the experience that is needed.
So glad I found you!! Working my way down the list of all your videos! Thank you for all the helpful information. I LOVE your binder and am working on creating my own!! Love those algorithms!! Please keep posting!! I would love to see where you’re at in your career and all the great things you’re doing!! ❤❤❤❤
Congratulations, Dr. Lada. This is so encouraging for me, as I feel overwhelmed now. I am working on completing my DNP project, and I have two clinical courses left after this week. You are an inspiration to me, and I am so glad that I came across your videos. God Bless
It's a full-time job. You work 40 hours a week. You have didactic (on-demand and live learning sessions on Mondays). You spend the rest of the week at your primary and secondary clinic locations.
This is a great video! I just found your channel tonight and subscribed. I'm a long-time respiratory therapist who's been agonizing about going to nursing school, and had almost talked myself out of it even though I've wanted to do it for 10+ years. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
This part right here ‘don’t think about how long it will take, time will past by anyway’’´ 🙌🏾. I’m 40 and I’m considering the NP program but I was thinking the program is too long. This is my words of encouragement. ❤
Hello Shavion! The average NP program is around 2 years or so. In two years no matter what you do - you will be 42 years old. Why not be a 42 year old NP 🤷🏾♀️ The time will pass anyway. The only thing we have control over is 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. Follow your dreams ☁️
Your an beautiful inspiration. Just got accepted into full time DNP program. Im scared because i don’t know how In going to be able to pay let alone pay rent. Its not a good idea to work during. Classes could be held anytime from Monday to Saturday.
Hi Dr. Lada, what if I already worked 10 years for an underserved community hospital and resigned this job to pursue and complete my APN education, would I still be able to take advantage of NHSC scholarship to pay my federal school loan? If any one else knows the answer to my question please don't hesitate to reply. Thank you.
Thanks you for this video!!!!!! I was feeling so down, because I just left an abusive marriage. I have a son and I’m an LVN in California. My dream is having my BSN and I’m barely making ends meet, but I know God will make a way for me! My name will change soon I declare this Myrna RN, BSN ❤in the name of Jesus
Speak it friend. Speak it. You are making the necessary changes to live the life God intended for you. With God… anything is possible. That I know for sure ❤️
