Dr. Lada, DNP I have been trying to get on with a facility with HRSA Connector for almost a year. Options will be better after I get this year of experience in. That would clear up so much if my student loans.

I don’t start chamberlain till January 2021 but this right here is a blessing they will hire you at a place that needs your skill normal those are the places you get a lot of experience and after sometime working your loans will be forgiven you can’t ask for more then that.

Good Morning Dr. Lada, thank you for making these videos. Please I will appreciate if you make a video on getting job at a Federally Qualified/Approved Health Care Center. I live in the state of Delaware and it’s been a challenge getting a job with the two FQHC. One of the centers (Henrietta Johnson) informed me that they are not hiring new board certified FNP (I passed board in December 2019). I am open to working in the Greater Philadelphia region as well (I have PA license) and live in Delaware. Thank you so much and God bless you.

Good Evening Dr. Lada, I am at the Virtual Job Fair but there is no representative from any HRSA based in the States of Delaware and Pennsylvania. I am licensed in both states as a FNP. My concern with getting additional state licensure (eg. NJ or MD) is that there is way I can be ascertained how far the commute will be to a probable FQHC site that will have an opportunity for an NP (not ready to relocate my middle and high school graders at this time). I am really hopeful that the job market will be better for me and NPs. Please what is your suggestion?

I am an ACNP student and wondering if this program would apply to me? Most of the previous loan repayment programs request primary care, which I won't really be doing as an acute care NP.

Hi Ms Lada, current FNP student here. I know you loved bringing a bunch of books to clinical. I am doing the same thing but it's overflowing my backpack. Do you have any recommendations for transporting all these books? Thanks girl! :)

Hello there! I did take a lot of books to clinical LOL. Just make sure you take the ones you use the most. I REALLY liked the pocket guides. My Bates Physical Assessment pocket guide, SOAP book (family and pediatric - for PEDS rotation), and the Pocket Primary Care Guide were always constants because they were smaller. I still use them and have them in my bag ❤️ So happy for you. Take the ones you find most helpful.

Yes, old nursing loans are eligible - see below: 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐬: An NHSC S2S LRP participant will receive loan repayment funding to be applied to the principal, interest, and related expenses of outstanding government (federal, state, or local) and commercial (i.e., private) student loans for undergraduate or graduate education obtained by the participant for school tuition, other reasonable educational expenses, and reasonable living expenses. The educational loans must be obtained prior to the date the participant submits their online application to the NHSC S2S LRP.
