I literally just looked at the criteria 2 days prior to your video and I appreciate the information you shared. I’m curious to know your experience in giving that time back. I also thought this was for PT students as well…? It seems there are two different tracts. Also, what happens if you fail a course or drop the program? Do you pay those funds back?

I was told to look into this by the school I’m doing my ABSN at. Would I not be eligible?

Hi Dr. Lada, what if I already worked 10 years for an underserved community hospital and resigned this job to pursue and complete my APN education, would I still be able to take advantage of NHSC scholarship to pay my federal school loan? If any one else knows the answer to my question please don't hesitate to reply. Thank you.

I applied for 4 consecutive years and nothing. I just called and if they feel you have a foreign accent, they will play with you. Literally , somebody by phone made me to spell my name 6 times , then hang me. I think nursing corp must be investigated by authorities. I had all the requirements and never i received a back call from them. I had high gpa, when i applied 3.97 undergrad in the usa. I think it surpasses the gpa of the lady on the video, and i was a physician previously in my birth country. I dont think that they are " competitive" i think they are "discriminatory" or just a scam.

Not necessarily… they consider those coming from underprivileged backgrounds. Since you were previously a physician that’s probably why

@Ms.pretty314 i was a physician in latam, i studied for free because i got the equivalent to mcat with a very high score. I spent my first 10 years in the usa changing diapers to elderly for 12 dollars per hour as a cna. That is not high income
