If you do travel alot I'd suggest investing in a foldie bag it fits a lot of items and it's TSA approved and it's made to fit under your sit on the airplane
I enjoy seeing all your planned projects. I would really like to know where you purchased the project holder that you had the Shepard's bush stocking pattern in. Pittsburgh, PA
I had to have a tether cord release surgery my junior of high school because of my birth defect i was born with spina bifida i was put out of commission for 3 months you're graham is in my prayers
So good to see you!! I loved this. I really enjoyed how you got excited all over again by this you had gotten a while ago. I think we ALL should do a kitted WIP parade, if only for the record!! Thanks for the inspiration. Hope to see you soon. Hugs
Love seeing all your kits! I love the corner flowers on Anne Thomas too! I haven't ordered from 123 Stitch yet, thought I plan to soon, but the ordering everything in one place was one thing I really liked about that site too! Not having to search through everything on the site to find what you need is wonderful! I hadn't heard of The Drawn Thread before, but they are beautiful! I have been saying I really want to start a couple things I have kitted up too, but I am making myself promise to finish at least one of my wips or I'll get too overwhelmed and won't get anything finished!! Funny fact about me; my parents almost named me Erin Elizabeth but my maiden name starts with a P so they were afraid that kids would take my initials which would be EEP and turn it around to spell pee!
Oh what a fun fact! It’s hard to start new with so many WIPS for me too! I did start and finish two smalls this month so it doesn’t count against my count 😬🥰
I was wondering about the pattern behind you on the wall, what fabric did you cross stitch this one and it is so pretty. I just got the pattern and wondered what fabric you used and how much much you purchased to cross stitch it. 0:04 0:04 0:04
Hi Sharon! I need to go back and make sure but I believe I used and Needle and Flax 32 count. I can’t remember what Jacob used? I stitched with 1 strand even though it was on 32ct and love how it looks
Congratulations on 4,000 subscribers! So glad Graham's surgery went well and he is home and doing well!! Your progess on Margaret Kendal 1820 is so pretty! The Christmasy sewing box is so pretty too! Vibrant flowers is coming along quickly, it's beautiful! Your finished socks and the sock yarns you have are beautiful!
Summer definitely flew by and I am just now getting to sit down and catch up on some flosstube videos! Glad you and your husband got to go out and celebrate your birthdays and enjoy the day together, even if it wasn't exactly what you had planned! Cousin camp sounds amazing, so sorry that Penelope was sick! Have a Cup of Cheer is beatiful! I love the Holly Hobbie project bag! And how sweet of your friend to send you the extra fabric. I had a Holly Hobbie birthday cake when I was very little! I didn't realize that she was a real person either! Love the little ornaments for your grandkids! They will always treasure those! My Grandma didn't make ours but bought them from friends who crafted each year and they are still among some of my very favorite ornaments! Hope Graham's surgery went well! I love those flowers in Martha Walmsley, they are beautiful! The baby quilt is so beautiful as well! And congratulations on knitting your sock, I never got farther than knitting a scarf! I have always only stitched on aida so just a couple of weeks ago I made it to my LNS and bought my first piece of evenweave and a small chart! I have done a whole three stitches on it and had to put it down for a little bit lol!
Stitch ALL the Things!!!! LOL I'm working on a Shepherds Bush stocking - Made by Michelle McGraw style. I'm using 14 ct vintage country mocha instead of her murky...I started trying the same stitching over 2 but it was just way too big. So I now have gone to just regular 14 ct stitching....I copied her SB stocking and adding the Prairie Schooler Santa she did first... I'm loving it so far! Thanks for sharing all of your pretties.... oh... and I LOVE the "oh one more thing"... so cute!!!! xoxo
I am glad that you decided (halfway through your kited projects) to put aside the projects that you should work on now. Maybe when you put everything away that you can make different groups - right this minute, now, different seasons, in the future, maybe should give away. Love seeing all of the project kits.
You are the first person I have heard that is also coming to the DTS retreat! I am going alone since my bestie didn’t get in. 😢 I will see you there! ~Lori
Love kit parades! Motivates me to not only count what patterns I have but to go ahead and kit them up so I can pick up to stitch at anytime. I have stitched 2 shepherd’s bush stockings. Love my soft fabric. I use 20ct cork linen ,color Raw. It is very soft . Love it especially since I stitch in hand. Happy stitching! ❤
OK, I got through it! Thank you for the channel mention! I have a big, long list of charts to purchase now. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (Sarah Barker, Martha Pettit, Sarah Allen, D Freitag, HF 1837, Give Thanks, Autumn Garden, Sweet Friendships, and the Sajou “Paris” kit). Thank you so much!! ❤️🥰😘
I love WIP and Kit parades! I have a lot of kitted projects! I count them kitted if they have chart & fabric. Then I pull the threads when I get ready to start them! I have quite a few Mill Hill ornament kits because this year I’m make my grandkid’s ornaments from them! I have 13 grands & 1 great grand! Thanks for sharing! By the way, I love your cabinet!
These look so beautiful!! I’ll have to watch the rest with the sound off. 😂 I can’t take it! I’ve got some ordering to do already and I’m only 9 minutes in. XOXO Heidi
Thank you so much for sharing, Holly. I also have Grace from Artsy Housewife purchased, but I need to pull the floss together. I think I will do it on one piece of linen. Want to start it with me? Take care!
I think I'm a newbie!! I don't have half of your amount of kits!!! 😂 lovely to see them all. I did want to ask, for the bottom drawers that hold the charts you have, do you use comic book boards in the bag to hold them upright so they don't slide and bend out of whack? Hugs and Love, Jennifer
Well, maybe my number of kits is more than one should have so maybe you’re in good shape 🤣. I don’t have comic boards in the drawer, I think it’s just stuffed full! I did just switch out the containers in that drawer so I could divide into a third section though!
Thank you for sharing your kits with us, Holly! I would have to check my spreadsheet for a true total of kits that I have ( yep, I’m that much of a nerd 🤓🤣) but I think I’m in the range of your number of 77. 🙃 And it continues to grow…. 💚💚💚
Well hello! I like that we have the same ish number! Mine grows as well, even though I don’t mean for it to grow! And I miss your face, when will you FT next??
Hello! First, your France trip looked amazing! Second, I have no idea! Maybe I should just close my eyes and reach into the drawer to choose new starts? 🥰
What a very fun video, thanks so much for sharing! Do you remember if the Scarlett house Autumn Garden was an exclusive from a retreat? I did not come up with anything when I searched for it.
I love a parade! I am not sure how many kits or WIPS that I currently have. I know that I have a lot of them and counting them all will just give me anxiety. So…who needs that kind of pressure in their life? I just buy what I like and stitch on the project that calls to me. ❤
I LOVED this video Holly! I think 77 kits is a lovely number! I do need to go count my kitted projects - I’m guessing I’m at around 50… I also have the Blackbird Humming of the Bees all kitted up…..it’s calling to me loudly, but I really want to focus on fall kits…. Isn’t it fun having so many choices! See you next time! Gisele
Gisele, it’s SO fun to have choices! It does feel a little like pressure though, will my lifetime be long enough to get it all stitched? Oh well, a girl can give it a try! 🥰
So many lovely designs in your stash. May your hours of stitching some of these be relaxing. I am feeling good that these are your choices and not mine. That many would worry me.
