Hi thanks for uploading this , I just used stop watch and first run was 5.58 Second run was 5.77 Is there something wrong ? Because there is not much difference
I drive Infiniti Q50 3.0T AWD tuned push 440whp and still dont think it is fast . Here Mazda guys buys 4c tiny turbo cars and wants them to sound and feel fast . Does not work
Did you ever change out stock intake and exhaust? Thats when you really feel gains. My car (Mazda6 Turbo) isnt tuned and gained a lot from the corksport intake and axle back exhaust. Adding this piggyback with those mods should gain even more. Especiallt high end... just curious to see if you have...
I was just thinking the same thing. I’ve owned 2 STI’s and a few WRX’s over the years. Cobb made it so simple. Was looking for something for the CX-5 for the shits of it but man, I keep reading “you have to remove the bumper”. Yuck.
@@Dennis-66 I'm in the same boat. Had some WRXs and a FiST, now trying to figure out what I can do with my CX30 turbo. I just got an aFe scorcher, but looks like actual tunes are not gonna happen 😢
I just installed mine. 5 zip ties and 5 to minutes organizing the cables make a nice clean install. I was twitching looking at how he sloppily leaves the cables. Tape the Bluetooth modual? Of course it came loose. Zip ties are your best friends!
No hate on the build at all, I was looking to do mods and on my cx5 23 and the stock Mazda air box’s are actually really nicely made. Honestly the stock box is allmost as nice as the trd 4 runner intake box
The issue is oil temp, running over 220 oil temp it will use start to use oil as the oil gets thinner. Running 80mph with outside temp of 90 plus with a head/side wind will germinate high oil temp. Nice they have added a sensor to let you know when to add a qt. Run slower in high temps will lower oil usage.
A lot of people in the comments section been saying that 300 whp isn’t fast. Yeah in a track yes 300 isn’t that fast, but for the street driving that is plenty. Most of the older muscle cars factory power were around 300 wheel to 350 wheel horsepower. I don’t care what anybody says anything more than 400 wheel horsepower is just unusable. Unless you think you can run from the cops(charger and challenger drivers).
My new daily makes 500hp and I think it’s slow. I use all the power just fine and never run from the cops. Obviously you can’t use any amount of power all the time, but there’s a time and a place for everything
2021 mazda3 premium (manual) 55k miles Oil change interval every 5k miles Pennzoil Platinum and KN filter for majority of its life Low engine oil light has come on within the last 2 intervals. If i get it again, I’m gonna Change oil brands and see if it changes anything.
I doubt the brand of oil is causing or will affect oil consumption or oil leaks. Most manufacturers consider up to a quart every 1,000 miles or so to be normal. Also keep in mind by your next oil change your warranty will be expired. I’d get it checked while it’s still under powertrain warranty but otherwise just keep it topped off and keep driving it!
My 21 AWD turbo just had to have the valve seals replaced at 20k due to burning oil. This is the repair per Mazda for oil consumption. We’ve had so many problems with this car definitely the worst new car purchase I’ve made.
@@3turbo144 No worries, I’m surprised it’s been such a problem car. It’s our 5th Mazda all the other were good. Now we’re waiting on back ordered strut mounts due to excessive noise. They were already replaced at around 12k.
@@jasonwheeler8996Front strut mounts squeaking when you drive into driveways slowly, especially when cold? Mine ‘21 CX5 Turbo does it. I’m also getting the oil burning issue every 2k miles and that’s why I’m here watching this video. Was your issue ever solved by the dealer? Mine is at 19k and the light has come on twice in the past 4,000 miles. Both times topped off.
@@Ryan57Garr yeah ours were the same way. We got rid of that car and picked up a nline Elantra that’s crap too. Transmission starting acting up around 10k miles and was replaced at 13k miles.
I ve gotb exactly the same car that you have, but I really like the red purple color of your dash board! It is not available here in Europe,we only have brown, and black....so sad
You can purchase a computer cable instead. I’d recommend having one or the other to at least make sure you’re on the correct map, you don’t really NEED it otherwise
