Been meaning too. I went to start Saturday but it started raining. Then I was gonna to film it Sunday after work but something came up

They designed it to sit in a hot engine bay, it should be fine

You must have a 2018 2019 model mazda6 right? How do you like it so far I may get one when it's on full release

@@Demoxx1 i actually have a 2020 mazda6... unfortunately i did not receive the bms data cable yet so i can't change maps or install updates... the jb4 is automatically set to map 1 for now so i can't really tell what changed, also i found that there is an update to fix a bug causing the jb4 to send stock-like boost levels so there is no noticeable change in power for now, the cable should arrive in the next 3 days, can't wait to update the jb4 and change to the right map!

So your engine makes 310 on premium and not 320 right? The made updatesto get that extra 10 ftlbs

Did the dealer tell you that by installing that you have potentially voided your factory warranty? Don’t know why people can’t just drive the car the way it came from the factory until the warranty period has ended?! Then go ahead and fu@k around with the mapping and tuning. 🤦‍♂️

Typically for jb4 running through the door is a quick method of install usually for initial testing. Once you confirm it works and you are satisfied and want to do a full install, you run the cable through the cars frame so the wire won’t be noticeable like shown. But doing it this way is more of a pain to take it off for when you need to take it to the dealership

The whole install is super janky. Not clean at all.

I usually get 100-150 miles on a full tank

It’s hit or miss with the MPG, some owners get excellent fuel economy but I get the worst

@@3turbo144 miss lol mine gets 18mpg. Cruising on the highway you'll get around 30 though. So there's that lol

....the accelerator is more the issue for though haha

Lmao! I actually drove into a sinkhole and now the engine bay is just stained. I’ve tried cleaning it myself and I’ll prob pay someone else at some point, but it’ll never look spotless again
