カッコイイ。 日本で、４０年前にアメリカ軍のCH-53は、エンジンが２つだけでした。 毎月、空母が来航すると飛んできて、シーキングとかカマンとかも、写真に撮ってました。 今、日本では、沖縄にスキューバダイビング旅行したときに、時々見かけますね。 厚木と横田には、今は、殆ど見かけません😊。

I've personally inspected 100's of these main and tail rotor blades using various NDT methods.

Like how Grumman mounts engines to the top of the wings. I guess though their Navy designs.

What an odd plane, cool video!

Does anyone remember the problem with AFCS of the CH53E around 1985 that some Marine called morning sickness? On damp mornings a few of the Super Stallions would get SAS caution lights. If you turned on the heaters and waited about 15 minutes the problem would clear.
