impact.com Rolex watches are my life passion and as a serious Rolex collector for many decades, I would like to share my Rolex passion and travels with the wider Rolex watch collecting community here on RU-vid with my Watch Fan Henry channel.
NEVER order a Rolex watch, or any other clone watch, from any merchant who is in Vietnam. The reason is the horrible, atrocious, ridiculous and super slow Customs in the this poor country. It is different if you are personally in Vietnam, but NEVER order a watch that will be shipped to you. My cousin does business in Vietnam, he goes there a lot, and he connected me with a good, reliable and trustworthy dealer who I was comfortable enough to order the new Rolex GMT watch. Sadly and unfortunately after this dealer shipped me the watch it got stuck for many long weeks at the horrible and super slow Vietnamese Customs. After I lost my patience waiting I cancelled this ridiculous order and got my money back. I and this dealer lost a good deal because of this country's unbelievably slow and terrible Customs. FYI...I had ordered the new Rolex Super Clone GMT model Bruce Wayne, the newest GMT with the new grey/black bezel. I had paid US$800 (total including shipping) for guaranteed to be a top notch quality and an excellent Super Clone Rolex GMT watch. Now I will never know. So.....stay away from ordering from disgusting Vietnam. I do not know if what I had paid was fair or too little or too much as I have seen quite price variances on clone Rolex watches. Lowest clones start around US$200 and go up for the Super Clones for around US$1500-$2000. Your input is welcome here.
I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. amzwatch brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
I’m going to Tokyo next months, where in Tokyo is the best price to get a Rolex pls? Which store? Is this in NAkano? What’s the name of your favorite store where u got your Airking? Thanks!
Funnily enough, MaMaCoo 's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
Hey Henry, great video! In around 3 weeks ill be traveling to Japan myself and im thinking about getting a watch and even maybe my first Rolex. Please could you specify where is or how is the last shop you show in this video called? They have really amazing prices and affordable Rolex there.
Thank you Henry for leading me to Nakano Broadway and all your japanese watch shopping advice. Just yesterday I bought a Rolex Air King (116900 -2019) box papers I hope it was a deal at 1.120 million yen tax free price from Watchnian.
Is it possible to pay no taxes in Japan? I don’t wanne pay double taxes.,how much % will the price get lower? I live in the Netherlands and have to pay 21%
I’m here In Tokyo right now been here for two weeks Did days of watch shopping !! This guy has no idea what he is talking about. Vintage watches maybe you can find a deal Anything newer is MORE expensive than in the USA. Way more expensive!!! Newer Pepsis here average $20-$23k USD In The states $16750-18500 same watch Daytonas here new 6 digit 116500s. All high 20k USD In The states you can find them for 19-26k pandas and black dials
As a rule of thumb, the Japanese "foreigner price" is the "cash price". If you pay with a credit card, they will charge a credit card fee (usually 3%). Happy B-Day 🎉
Hey I appreciate the content that you are putting out as it is really informative. But when 5 minutes of the video (more than half the video) is on your face and not on the watches that viewers came to see, makes the content not as great as it could be. Just for future videos because you're channel is really unique and I feel like your extensive camera time is taking away from that.
23,000 euros for a 2021 preown batman? That's crazy. that watch is not worth 17,000 dollars today. Thanks for videos though. I'm actually going to Frankfurt in less tha two weeks so let's see if I habetter luck than you at the ADs. Not likely I know. Lol.
Every one complaining should turn around and take a hard look at themselves. YOU are the root cause, YOU are salivating over the though off buying a brand that YOU also detest and speak ill of. What do you expect Rolex to do? They have you by the neck, and instead of asking to let go or resist, you are screaming "Choke me Daddy" . . .
I remember two Rolex ADs in Ontario. Back in 2017 there were no display models or wait lists. You walked in and walked out with a watch. I even snagged a Daytona, just by asking. Out three models came from the back room and that's how I got my first one.
Hi Henry. Here is a tip for you for buying Rolex or Patek Philippe in Vancouver. No authorized dealer for these two brands will sell you a watch. But Distinctive Time Inc. lists every Rolex or Patek Philippe watch you want. Distinctive Time advertises exclusively on Chrono 24. Any Rolex can be bought there, new, in the box and fully stickered, tens of thousands of dollars over retail. Just ask Distinctive Time where they get these new watches from, and go there yourself to buy. Problem solved.
I went to my local jewelry store recently and they sell Rolex. I was getting a new battery for my current Bulova and was looking at the Submainer. While my watch was getting a new battery, I was by myself looking at the Rolex’s. Nobody came to speak to me. Eventually I was able to try the Sub on but the person didn’t even ask me if I was interested or anything. She assumed I knew about the “list” etc and didn’t even care. I was very polite, dressed nice and was trying hard to ask questions and spark conversation. I work in Sales in my career so I understand trying to build relationship but usually it’s the seller trying to do this with a potential client not the other way around. I ended up getting my name on “the list” and got a follow up text from the salesperson. I responded back with a nice message reiterating my story and interest. I received a generic text response back… and that’s my experience with a Rolex AD… I can get the Sub if I truly want one from a contact in the gray market. Might have to pay a little more to get it but I know the person well. I just hate how the AD customer service is… I’m also really interested in Omega and might just go that route instead
