So you sacrifice ur whole life just to make ur family in good conditions but you suffer all without enjoying much what’s the benefit, me I can’t either change work or work less n enjoy life cos life is short
been binge watching your no-nonsense videos ... thank you and much appreciated . quick question... using home equity (i.e second mortgage) to buy a truck. would you consider this a good or a bad move?
Greetings and Salutations Decided to study for my CDL My kids might have had 40 potatoes before the decision NEVER have I ever heard of a non-CDL or vehicle before 🦸♀️
1.5 years with my cdl. In the path you describe coincidentally. I suggest people go hazmat tanker. Im on pace for 160K this year. Already socked away over 100K.
I agree I’m a tech at Chrysler I make good money 6 figures but I don’t like the way the car industry is going I’m looking to leave I’ve been saving to do exactly what you said in the video so I’m working and saving already went ahead and got my Cdl
Thanks, Tyler! Following a similar plan and getting into trucking at 48yrs old. Never too late. Currently in truck driving school and your videos help keep me motivated!
@@KhaderSheriff I'm bullshiting on my lunchbreak brother 😂😂 don't mind me man and yes sir love each and every aspect of MMA. Love More of the sweet science though (boxing).
Hey what’s up living freed. I been watching your content for a nice while now and I got my CDL a few months ago through swift (yeah it went bad lol) but now I’m doing Amazon freight partners out of IL hourly to build experience and make a decent wage. I’m doing okay out here and I like it and I have big goals from it very similar to yours. I’m 27 from Chicago and I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to do this. Thanks hopefully I can contact you one day
Morning Tyler! It is rare that one takes the time/energy to detail such a successful approach to O/O business! You stated you hope to help others be successful! You are helping others for sure! Your communication skills are exceptional in making the complex simple! It's great to hear from you and thank you for what you do! Be safe out there!
@TheLivingFreedChannel You repeated yourself 6 different ways, t o prolong viewer time, to boost algorithms, and that was the first few minutes, causing me to get upset and change channel after my comment. Our time, is money!
I love these videos man. I’ve been stressing out these last few days. Currently at 27 years of age and I’m walking into this field for the first time, I’m going for my CDL A. My mindset is to own my truck fleet. I’m starting school in a few weeks… I got some debt I have to take care of… but after it’s all gravy, any tips?
I appreciate you for watching man and I also uploaded a video answering your comment! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s11NSZpigQA.htmlsi=fP3pFslvJIG3jTst
Afternoon Tyler! I agree that debt free business is easier to manage than with debt. Your explanation of why is crystal clear! If you don't manage the truck, it will manage you! Great to hear from you and roll safe out there!
Thanks for your perspective. I know you're just getting started as an OO, but do you find yourself spending more time working than as a company driver? If so how much more? Have you had more downtime than as an OO?
I feel like you have the best view for trucking if you wanna make money and eventually get out of the industry. Im looking to follow your similar path. I really wanna do it with real estate. I don’t really understand stocks that much but i need to do more research. Do you plan on keeping the truck on the road with a driver once you reach your financial goals? Or do you plan on selling off? You are a very smart man and have a good out look with everything! Im a company driver right now and i plan on being an O/O once i move to TX. Love watching your videos for advice on how to make more money over time. Hope to see you on the road one day!
Also, the reserve money for repairs should be invested in a money market fund, earning around a 4% rate of return, as it offers "check writing ability", aka, immediate liquidity
I agree with having the cash, on hand, to be able to purchase a truck, but I disagree with paying cash for the truck instead of getting a loan. Those funds should be invested, to further grow wealth, while also building credit, and a relationship, for the purchase of an additional two trucks (before hiring a driver, it's better to have an additional truck for when one of the other two is in the shop)
I think you did pretty well paying cash for yourTruck, but you’re not earning business Credit I think you should’ve paid 30,000 for your Truck and then finance the 20,000 so you get business credit that’s my thought
I agree with you 100% on another aspect I work at a trucking garage that fixes trucks and parts are getting harder and harder to get tires are through the roof engine parts are crazy priced and I’ve seen firsthand where it’s put a lot of operators out of business in fact, we’ve had three or four trucks left on the property. They had to be towed so they just abandoned, it’s a shame
@raider where did you get this information from? The drivers that I am surrounded by are some of the hardest working men and women that I know. . The consistently work 60 to 70 hours a week are away from their loved ones for the majority of the year and do it all over again just to put food on their table and try and make a life for their families... I think your comment might be one of the most ignorant things I've read on RU-vid
This is a great video. I’ve been a company driver for 3 years. I purchased a truck this year and started my own authority. I kept my company job while I aged my authority now I’m getting ready to hit the road 🎉 Your financial advice is similar to The Dave Ramsey Plan 👍
Good evening, Tyler! Sage advice for success as you always do! I’m on motorcycle trip in Arkansas! Know this…Praying for you , your family and your O/O business daily! Roll safe out there!
