Everyone in my life are doing anything they can to get me to back out of my plan to achieve financial freedom through trucking. Because of that I just draw my strength and inspiration from you. Each time you post, it overrides all of that interference and I just do the next right thing to get closer to a reimbursement cdl school situation. I have my plan so I think it will work. This the summary of what I learned reading the book 'psychology of money', The discipline and consistency is much more important than all the technical details of investing.
Most people who spew out negativity either have self doubt in their own situation or just simply don’t want to make the sacrifices & put in the work that’s needed to hit their goal. Thanks for the video man. 🫡💪🏾

I left a comment but can’t see it now after trying to fix a typo. 4% rule comes from a study by a guy named Bill Bengen that was a rocket scientist before he studied finance. If you want a PhD level deep dive into the safe withdrawal rates check out the blog Early Retirement Now. Basically about 3.4% is safe for any length of retirement and will likely allow you to end up with much more wealth that you started retirement with.
I definitely listen to Dave but some other ones that cover more advanced topics that I like are The Money Guys, ChooseFI, Stacking Benjamins, Sean Mullaney FI Tax Guy on RU-vid, Early Retirement Now with Karsten Jenske blogs, Optimal Finance Daily, Radical Personal Finance, Ready for Retirement, Sound Investing with Paul Merriman, Bigger Pockets, Personal Finance Podcast. Blogs- MR Money Mustache, Go Curry Cracker, MadFientist. Some of those above are a bit politically liberal for me but they all still cover some good points so I glean what I can and leave the rest.
