Haha! Yes i do 😂 Also, thanks for talking about how products made on RU-vid are not finished and ready to sell. I say this all the time, but feel like I'm screaming into the void sometimes. It's so important to make and test products yourself before selling even if the formula works well for us, there are so many variables. I'm now also going to have get myself a centrifuge!
i’m glad you do! you inspired me to vlog more. 🫶🏻 & yes! honestly though, i’ll keep saying it and people will still not listen 😂 i really love the centrifuge, besides how loud it is. highly recommend 😁
I second doing more vloging. They have a more laid-back vibe that I like. I love people making products and sharing, but the amount of people who think they can just start a business with it is insane!
😂 I'm not a creator, just learning, but I feel the same way at times reading comments all over the internet. Also, my work experience is in the medical lab setting so my mind went directly to, "Ummm.. I need a centrifuge, petri dishes, micro scope, gram stains, incubator." How do I know it's not growing the funk in there?? You can't see the funk with the naked eye until it's already made a nice home for itself. "The funk"- lab term for ANY microbe that doesn't belong"
Hi! ❤ Bless you. You share a lot. Im learning so much❤ I'm glad to hear you tell people they can NOT just copy a recipe and sell it. This applies to everything and all creators. People want easy and quick. I was watching you pretty much all day yesterday and kept thinking you need a disclaimer on your videos.❤ "Test your OWN recipe. These are my own and are NOT tested." I used your videos for further inspiration that I first got from other creators because I feel like I need all the info I can get. There are specific things I need/want and the only way to really understand what you're learning is to put it into practice. Which means figuring out your OWN percentages and ingredients. Just because you love an ingredient doesn't mean I will. Some things just won't work. So, I greatly appreciate all that you share. It does help me with thinking outside the "box" and learning more about why some things might be very lovely and others not so much. I have sussed out a few different recipes with the help of yourself, Marie and Rhonda at Nelson's. I feel more confident in trying out my own ideas because of all the experience and knowledge shared. ❤ Please, for your own sake, just put a disclaimer on all future videos that none of the recipes ( you gracefully share) are meant to be sellable finished products. There's just too many people in the comment section wanting someone else to do all the "hard boring" stuff. Thanks again for giving this 51yr old g-Ma inspiration to use the old noggin ❤
Love the vlog content. It’s good for you too-you don’t feel like you have to serve up a formula each time you post a video. You seem more relaxed and it’s fantastic (not that I complain over the formulas😉).
Really loved it but I don't know why I didn't get the notification really loved the vlog the back lab was so stunning!!!! Thank you so much for always inspiring really loved it. The testing part was so nice loved to see it💯loved this series so much. Thank you sister for sharing and inspiring ❤️💯
Hello! JOJOBA OIL is great for your face products. It is non comedogenic and lighter than some other oils, and is suitable for natural skin sebum. It is my favorite!! Go for it!
There's so many people that just go to you or Marie and make something they are once and start selling. I almost started doing that. That's one reason i haven't started selling yet is because i haven't finished testing things. I did make two sugar scrubs though, with my own recipe. And one didn't seem to last six months. I found one i had packaged two years ago and it looked great and even smelled ok! The one that didn't last was made with optiphen plus i Believe and the one that lasted was preserved with liquid germal plus. I couldn't figure out what happened to the bad one because i thought they were the same. So yes now i know it was the preservative i used
Do you have a video on how to be testing formulas? I saw you mention the preservative and stability test. I have no clue how to do this. What other testing should I be doing before selling a hair product. Any recommendations
