Hi, I'm Adam. After beating a life-threatening illness, I fell in love with golf.
I started my RU-vid channel to share my passion. Twice per week, I publish videos featuring full rounds of golf - every shot - in under ten minutes.
There are no gimmicks, trick shots, or braggadocio on my channel - only an everyday golfer enjoying the challenge of the course. My golf swing is far from spectacular, so instead of providing technical instruction I share course management skills from the perspective of a single-digit handicapper.
Please subscribe to my channel if you enjoy my content :)
You also need to realize when you're taking an overly heroic shot. "I'm gonna fade my 3 wood here on a weird lie" is probably not going to happen. You're not that guy. Part of the fun of golf is sometimes taking those risk/reward shots even knowing that they're unlikely to land. That doesn't mean be a hero and try to stick it over the water hazard, off the tree, onto the hill with backspin onto the green, but part of mitigating risk is knowing what risk is acceptable and not losing your mental focus when that risk doesn't pay off
Your channel is great, I just started watching it. It's extremely relatable and reinforces my decision to forgo trying to go long off the tee the way I did 20 years ago, for being in play most of the time. This is a great golf Chanel Adam, keep it up.
Broke 85 after watching your videos with an 84! Previous best was 91. Love how you explained the mindset around each shot ensuring that mistakes don't compound
As a beginner...Ive played 3 rounds of golf so far and got 2 par so far. This is how I see golf: Mistakes = over par No mistakes = Par Having 1 really good drive= potential birdie My mistakes are not knowing what club to use.. I will be going to golf sim this weekend to see my ranges... My last par was last weekend.. I outdrove my friend to the stick in the middle (150yrds out from hole) and we both hit the green with our irons, could of had a birdie if my first putt from 25+ feet when in. It was a par 4.
What blows my mind is not any of the shots itself... but how many times you consistently you can hit the ball and it goes straightish... Il have like 5 amazing irons (amazing = straight) but then il mess up 3 irons in a row
Hey Adam, new subscriber here. I've been watching a ton of your videos recently and I love your story! I really like how you talk about having a positive mindset. You've also given me a ton of pointers and advice about how to navigate a course better. I'm going on a golf trip in a few days to southern Utah, and I can't wait to put all the things I've learned from you into practice on the course! Cheers!
Good stuff here. Im decent with driver and can chip/pitch pretty good. The rest sucks, but it adds up to a 6 cap somehow. Its really just about cutting out the penalties, 2-chips, and 3-putts
Man I wish I could hit fairways like you. Yesterday I shot a +3 75 with hitting 2 fairways but had a 65% GIR. Granted it's a pretty open course so the rough isn't as penalizing as other courses but man if I could dial in driver, I might break par (which I've never done in 20 years). Anyways, great video as always Adam!
This video is basically my game in a nutshell- I scramble very well around the greens because I miss so many. I will bomb a drive 260 every once in awhile. Golf is hard.
Langdon Farms, I love that course. Your driver was solid this round. Reserve South, OGA Course (real close), Chehalem Glenn, Eastmoreland, Heron Lakes all worth playing and nearby.
Very instructive, as I can & do make about the same number of errors. My putting lets me down. Chipping not great. Thanks for making me feel like I can improve. Almost seems like no problem to get better.
I know you don’t give swing advice but what about putting advice? I saw in 1 video you posted some putting books but what else can we do to master lag putts?
Man, the putter was not cooperating at all for you Adam! Just had elbow surgery yesterday. I’m hoping to be back in action by mid July? Wish me luck friends
I played today and shot a 90 on a par 70. I had a pretty average front shooting a 47. Then I tied my 9 hole score on my second 9 with a 43. I’m getting so close to shooting in the 80’s. I didn’t hit many amazing shots. Just played golf and not golf swing.
