Why are they always replacing old attractions at Disney World when the parks are spread apart by miles and there are thousands of acres on the property to expand on? I mean it makes sense at Disneyland but why at World? For example what they are about to do to Tom Sawyer Island and Dinoland.
The major differences are the happy ending similar to the 1994 Walt Disney World ride's version and the mine cart rolling to the guests from the original Disney World version.
I remember the "SOLO" version of YO HO after that first drop. Just single pirates doing the song and then it would go back to the classic version. I think they did away with those solo voices around 1980.

The only bad thing about this video is there are no close-ups ... I can't see if I recognize any of the dancers from later shows at DisneyLAND. But love there are more renditions of this show out there!
I remember watching this once at Disney World and being terrified at the witch and demonic type faces that came afterwards. I started crying and buried my face in my laps lol 😂. My mom, who was pretty upset, took me out of the theater and then complained to the employees for the film being intense for children haha. For being the 80’s, I’m truly surprised that Disney let this film play out as it did. I had nightmares about it afterwards. It’s so crazy being able to see this so many years later. Thank you to this channel!
My family and I actually saw this when we went to Disney World in September 2000, and we thought it was actually kind of funny, especially Iago. My parents actually thought the original Tiki Room was boring(!) when they went to Disney World back in the 80s, and that this was an improvement.
The best thing about Fantasyland? I don't know. I guess to me it lacks the Pizzaz of other lands, but its a comforting place I suppose. Theres some sense of familiarity to it. I'm french - and you'd be shocked by how many villages I know that look like Fantasyland a bit. Also, yep - our Snow White is pretty outdated, Pinnochio is scarier, and Peter Pan has just as many visitors. I always thought they'd make a Splash-Mountain esque ride around hwre based on Robin Hood - the movie is especially popular around here.

They close this fall, so heads up! Not much time left to film the area/ride!

I LOVE the Art Deco style they went with for the Hollywood Tower Hotel. It's such a classy look and the fact it's abandoned adds a terrifying mystery to the whole ride experience
