Thanks so much! My 2nd favorite Disney moment, exceeded only by the 1st time I saw the original MSEP at Disneyland. Let There Be Peace on Earth with the laser dove brings tears to my eyes every time, and Walter Cronkite's narration (the other Uncle Walt) was perfect.

If you think about it this show has layer allot of groundwork for future shows to come, you can see some pyro exclusive to this later used in reflections of earth and don’t make me say the H word. The show layout was similar to 25 and ROE as well as the highly symphonic vocal ending which has been used up until now. This new show also has a very similar ending.

Man, I really wanted to see how this would have worked with the Harmonious barges.

The edits of that music… oh the stories that can be told. Also, when it was shown in the park, the music stopped, and then Walter Cronkite would speak with no music, then immediately it would start. I loved how it started with a boom and scared old people and babies.

Just a few years earlier, Disney had kicked off the height of its cutting-edge (for the time) nighttime spectaculars with SpectroMagic and Fantasmic, and Holiday Illuminations was the Christmas present which led to Reflections of Earth. Wishes was the cherry on top. The shows became more blatantly commercialized afterwards, but there was a golden moment of pure entertainment. Thank you so much for this video!
