I've always said concerning my 2013 Cruze - If GM could have just replaced every single part under the hood it wouldn't be such a piece of crap. Everything behind the windshield has been trouble free on mine. Under the hood I have had to replace the entire cooling system (plastic everywhere), the turbo assembly, front cover seal due to oil leaks, turbo oil feed/drain lines due to leaks, oil pan gasket, #1 spark plug constantly fouls due to blowby or the fantastic PCV system, three coil packs, valve cover twice...it just goes on and on. I can imagine this being a great car with an entirely different powerplant
Luckily I have a ton of parts that fix these issues. Also keep in mind these are cheap cars when they were new. They did certain things cheap so the car can be affordable.
@@JenaroTantillo-qp6zr If you notice halfway through the video I was doing a burnout in my car . That should give you a good indication as to what my turbo chargers can do
oh yea I can hear the Boost it sounds amazing but will you be posting dynos with the scr-400? And I do have more questions about the turbo, how can I reach you?
@@JenaroTantillo-qp6zr Eventually what I decided to do this year was let people get some of the turbos and start showing their cars how much power they make instead of me showing mine. At the end of the day I’m very personal with choosing turbos it really depends on what you want to do with the car. And especially if it’s an every day vehicle so I literally will get on the phone and plan a build list for you accordingly
Dave, hi, i have a 2020 chevy sonic turbo and its show a p0299 code, but i think the intercooler its likend but also i want to replace the coolant pipes cause its liken too, are you made coolant pipes too for chevy sonic?
@@vidalprieto4085 I can. I’ve had people ask me to a few times. Also if the only code is p0299 and nothing else it’s probably the wastegate. If you had a leaking pipe you would get other codes with it. How many miles are on it?
@@davesworld2132 right now just today, the check engine its turned off, and im trying to see and i dont see any problem on the system except for a little liken by the intercooler, im gonna change the whole intercooler system with pipes in the future, but right know i need the coolant pipes cause i have to replace the water outlet coolant cause its liken and i want to take advantage for change the whole pipe system

@@davesworld2132 I’ve took it everywhere, I’ve got a new ecm, changed my knock, map & boost sensor, that’s wasn’t the problem I had an oil leak from my vacuum pump, I changed that but my car is still not running properly, what it’s doing is accelerating really really slow like not going past 2rpm and then when It picks up it’s fine.. please help, I’m filling out your car sponsor application rn because I love my car and can’t and finna send everything including pics of my car to your email.. i been had my car for 4 years and now im having this issue that can’t nobody seem to help me fix..

Was about to blindly dump money in intake, turbo, w.g. oil line, pcv, ect. randomly. Looks like i found the place. Any chance you can personalize stuff fir SuperTrax applications

I own a 2017 Chevy Sonic. Will the catch can install on it as well? I couldn't locate any pre-drilled holes on the strut tower. I'm guessing ill have to drill my own holes? Thank you for the content.
@davesworld2132 sorry for my ignorance. Idk what you mean. I'm not running anything at the moment. I am just looking into possibly buying a kit in the near future. My car is throwing some codes. I took it to the nearest GM dealer, to see about getting it fixed because there's a recall on these engines, specifically for the turbo. Long story short, they refused to fix it, because my car no longer has a warranty. I thought warranty didn't matter with recalls? They did scan it. Said It needs a the upper O2 sensor replaced. The camshaft cover is leaking a little oil. It wants to hesitate from a stop when accelerating. I've had this car for 2 years. This year it is starting to act like its "flooded" whenever I fuel up. After I fill up, as soon as I try to start it, it will turn over for several cycles before firing off. After that, it's fine until I fill up again. Something to do with fuel/air ratio? Idk. I checked the diaphragm on the cam cover, and checked for the "orange nipple" (pcv valve?) in the intake manifold. It's still there. So idk what else it could be. I only know your basic knowledge, if even that much. What would you recommend me buy and/or test, etc,.. Thank you in advance.
@@l1nkofshadowz68 When you first comment that it sounded like you were trying to install some thing that’s why I ask. I have a specific kit that I make that fixes the PCV system and adds a canister to a specific location on the firewall next to the strut tower. That being said even though you see the orange nipple that does not mean that internal check valve is still there. It’s possible that Justice Center nipple is left and the the check valve is broken.
@@davesworld2132 it's a cruze 1.4 turbo. I'm from Argentina, it's the last place the cruze was still manufactured. You can even get a 2024 out of the dealership.
