thank you for posting this video I was looking for the other coats of arms they were kind of hard to find. I am of the brown lineage and have successfully traced my family back to the 13th century. my family has stories of us originally being Vikings coming from Norway and literally destroying the French as well as marrying into wealthy French families as we were a very large clan at the time and that meant that we were of noble birth in Norse society, I really wish I knew more but it was so long ago that many many written records or anything really has been destroyed by this time. I have heard there is some controversy over this but we hold fast that we did fight in the war of 1066 so it is possible that our family line went all the way back to the 9th century. another little tidbit I recently learned when we were Norse originally that when we traveled and Concord new lands we traveled as entire families it was basically a giant family with a fleet of long ships. it's very possible we lived in the Scottish isles as well there's just so much info I don't have

Right, so you have the pronunciation of Hereford, pointed out below but Tredegar is pronounced tre - dee - gar and if you can't manage the Ll sound with your tonue then a good try would be Clan - gatt - ock (which with a softish c , rather than a hard K type c) as it is a similar sound. Lingoed is said as lin - goyd and Monmouth as mon - muth ( as in must). As with areas of the rest of the UK, there may be a slightly different pronunciation in North, South, West Wales and the Welsh Valleys, this is more to do with accent. In Cardiff there was a department store named David Morgan and many of early department stores in London were started by Welsh people , so had or still have Welsh names.

It’s painful seeing all these cool coat of arms and knowing that my family was slaves in the United States. I have the last name Brooks, I’m very light skinned and I have no clue if my blood has Brooks in it. I atleast have the name and it would be cool to know if I have a Coat of Arms I could put in my home and teach my kids about. That would be so awesome compared to telling my kids our blood line is only of enslaved people from Africa

I am working on a Coats of Arms application in the National Society Colonial Dames 17 Century. The ancestor Thomas Eaton, born circa 1565 probably in Rowington, County Warwick England received a Coats of Arms. Do you have any information of his receiving the Coats of Arms? I do not see any COAs related to him shown on your video.
