👋In recent years, I prune atemoya starting Late April/May after my last harvest. You can prune several times during the year to promote flowering and prolong your season. I know many grower in CA prune in January/fFeb as soon as they finished harvest the fruit for new year.
Hi Dear Chi, Along with mentioned about monthly periods ❤Can you please do mention the seasons time as well such as the first month, the second month of that season. I live at the bottom of the word, Our seasons will different of opposite yours. It s now the first month of Autumn here. I m happy your successful in Cherimoya garden and experiments. I want to improve mine. ❤Thank you in advance . 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Hi Chi. what was the lowest temperature during winter time in your area ? you said you harvested your last fruit around May, it means the fruit continue to grow without any problem during winter time ? is it because the atemoya is cold tolerant or Chi. didn't really have a cold winter. It would be awesome if we can extent the season to have fruit all year long ^_* . Thanks for posting.
High 30 at night. The fruit continue to grow during winter. Cherimoya and Atemoya trees does very well in the winter here, especially Atemoya. Atemoyas doesn’t loose their leaves at all. I have to manually strip it off early spring.
Can we prune at the beginning of Autumn to extend the fruits season. More vedios about Cherimoya, Atemoya please. Love to hear your beautiful voice in the background. ❤
