Thank you for this information, I think its good to be aware as an informed citizen. 1)- Who has oversight over FBI misconduct, potential constitutional violations on U.S. citizens and or wrong doings? 2)- Can OIG investigate FBI if a citizen believes their rights were violated?
Good video, the IG concept can be a little confusing for someone who isn't familiar and stumbles on the job announcements. I am a current GS-12 OIG investigator (DoD) and agree with a majority of your sentiments on IGs. I kind of fell into this job based on my location and am looking to get back into more traditional criminal investigator work. Still find myself putting in for other agencies' OIG announcements due to the amount of GS-13 positions available, would rather not voluntarily change to a lower grade, but I absolutely will for a job I'll enjoy more.
DOJ OIG gets to do IAD type work on the various DOJ agencies. They also detail DEA agents to help assist as the agents who get into the most serious trouble eventually become money launderers.
@@federallawenforcementcaree9900 might have to look into them as an option as a majority of our investigations are IA focused. I may send a resume your way for any tips on improving it. I've been getting many referrals but few callbacks. Appreciate the time you're putting into helping others break into the field or advance their careers.

I’m with a very prominent OIG. we are in top 5 for best places to work. People don’t know my as a special agent 1811 with oig you have the best work and family life. We literally do what we want. If you ever need help with people who ask you questions I can help them with their applications etc
Hopefully you guys can figure out the potential psyop/borderline terrorist propaganda turning everyone against each other... It's looking like an army FTX gone wild in Chicago....
