I got back into coins after about 45 years off a couple months ago. I’m trying to get as many used dansco albums quick as I can early on. I think they are really nice looking.
The 1939 Arkansas commemorative half dollar has a mintage of 2,100 per mint EXTREMELY RARE ! wayyyy undervalued ( in my opinion ) i bought the P,D,S, for less than $700 bucks
My collecting is very similar to yours. I have a lot of Dansco albums too. I never counted my coins but that website you said sounds great. I need to watch the video again to get the name. Most of my albums are from uncirculated sets up to the late 1950s. The new Dansco albums are hard to get because of the pandemic. I still haven’t been able to get yet.
How wonderful...thank you for allowing me to share in your wonderful home and family rememberances..I have been in the antique business and collecting most of my life..I have a great collection myself and it is a lifetime live. However, you have my most fantastic dream come true...to live in a house from long ago ..where your relatives lived and died...to be surrounded by their history and belongings. I can only imagine how lovely that would be. Thank you ,thank you for taking the time to share it all..and adding your fine story telling narrative for us(me) to enjoy ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Man... I've been looking for a hawaiian commemorative half but don't want to spend 3,000 or 4,000 dollars. I wish I could have found a deal like that! I know you cant believe what those cheap holders say but from what I can see that coin really looks like a solid 64 to me. Congratulations. Just curious, have you sent it to pcgs or ngc yet?
I watch these vids for inspiration completing an early commem set myself! I'd be curious to see what that Hawaii grades, you should send it in and post a vid of the results. Part of me thinks that coin could be cleaned, either way a great purchase!
I bought two of these from my LCS, and I’m very happy with them, they feel really nice in my hand, plenty of weight in a nice, tight little bar. I’ll definitely buy more in the future if they are available and I happen to have the cash onhand at the time, they’re nice bars…
Just pulled the trigger on this coin also ms65 cac in a blue label pcgs holder and an 1883 hawaii king kalakaua 50c designed by Charles Barber in ms63 CAC with some nice toning. As long as oil prices don't fall and I keep working like I have been I see an 1883 hawaii $1 in au-58 and a hawaii commemorative in low mint state in my future!
@@lindsey3448 The Lafayette Dollar is the next big purchase on my list. I need the 1932D and 1936D Washington Quarters to complete my Washington Unc album.
You have a beautiful home! It is so awesome how you have it decorated.I love your antiques too. I would love to live in a home like this someday . It’s great you know so much about your family history . Thanks for sharing
