Again you fall asleep (with flare) ;) You are lucky that you land and that nice 'carpet' field. Usually speedbar without wheels do not skim that good and you go into nose dive. I use smaller wheels on my moyes litespeed s. Just in case for that 'sleep' scenarios.

How do you like the lammy compared to the T3?
@MikeBomstad
@MikeBomstad 4 дня назад
Its been great. It is 14.1 (151.7 sq feet) it does feel a bit bigger as expected. (I was on a 144. I had a T2C 144 prior and a 154 before that and then Moyes) This was the size Manfred and Christian recommended. Thermals well. Less easy to be upset. Glides great/ VG does feel it takes a bit more effort. Out of the box it takes a bit more high siding. I actually prefer this. Fit and finish is incredible. Sink rate seems good. Buddy has a T3 144 so its going to be fun to compare. Weather has not been cooperative, I only have a handle full of flights. No regrets. Looking forward to getting some distance flights. But the Atos has been hogging them ;-) photos.app.goo.gl/U1MPHaMgyD9jT9a86

That's what I thought I wanted to learn to fly first, then my brother and I watched all the videos we could find for both PG and HG. We chose HG for obvious reasons. We knew as beginners that we wouldn't be able to judge weather conditions well enough for PG. We chose bones in our wings. Best of luck with your Bi-wingalness. Stay safe and active flying always.

nailed it Mike.. would it be safe to say a high performance glider is much harder to land than a single surface glider..? (higher stall speed)..I remember my UP Gemini 164 single surface had a stall of 10 MPH..it would mush in landing all day long..lol anywho good to see U B still at it
@MikeBomstad
@MikeBomstad 13 дней назад
@JohnDoe-1000xt yes. As you move up in performance, the flare window gets smaller, and the glider less forgiving, and the stall speed is higher. The WW Alpha 210 and 235, sound similar to your Gemini. Big giant huge flare window at about a walking pace LOL ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n6oZVO2hICo.htmlsi=NiSz3uTNzVz1DxLx
