I'm normally prefer sub, but the dub is better here by a mile. Takamura is especially great, but even in this fight, sendo saying ippo's name and ippo responding is so memorable.
@@sonchristian9053 fair enough I just liked the tone of voice the original voice actors did and said more than the sub plus I haven't seen all of it yet in sub so I'll give it a go and finish it to see how it goes

All I could think is how the reason the shuffle alliance members lost to Domon is because they kept helping him with his Burning Finger lead up speech. Like STOP! It’s like if Freeza yelled Kamehameha while trying to beat Son Goku

The dub does the early episodes very well, the learning moments, Takamura giving Ippo advice etc, the campyness is great too, especially for the comedy, but they unfortunately fall short with the hype moments, especially compared to the sub, man, so close, the emotion isn’t quite there, but it’s still great
This is probably petty on my part, but it has always annoyed me how much bullshit Domon had to pull to beat the other Members of the Shuffle Alliance, with the possible exception of Argo; but with Sai... who is using this new potentially life-ending move, he just uses his left hand. I don't know if the problem solving on Domon's part is what annoys me, or if it's the fact that Sai thought someone like Domon didn't have a fallback of any sort if his right hand had been taken out. Mankind was given two goddamned hands for a reason! I refuse to believe I'm the only one who was annoyed that Domon had to pull a Gundam Shadow Clone out of his ass to beat Chibodee, but with Sai it's just "Wait, what's this thing coming out the end of my LEFT arm, oh right now I remember!"
Domon had so many ass pulls to beat the other members. I get the surprise from the left hand burning finger. Its almost like if u can throw a ball 70 yrds with your right arm break it and can still throw it 70 yrds lefty. When no one has ever seen u do it before. It wouldve made more sense if we say it in ealry episodes but sai didnt.
@@kurtking8046 True; Domon gets many main character/plot demands it power ups. This one just feels the most egregious! It actively requires that the fighter who was literally raised (from birth far as the audience knows) to be a warrior monk was utterly shocked by a guy using his left hand?!

it seens pretty hard but not... impossible... i mean there is a dude that finished mmbn 1 and 2 start to finish with just the buster i mean cmon man,it dont seens that bad with falzar, it just take time, at least you have a spread machine gun with falzar...with gregar i agree with you though... still really good job, may as well try that someday... with falzar of course
I feel another reason why Sai Saici came closer to beating Domon compared to the other shuffle members, was because picked up his "new technique" on the fly while the fight was going, where as the others showed their trump card techniques before their fights with Domon (Chibodee and George out of pride , Argo meanwhile was forced to use his against someone else), which gave Domon no time to really "counter" like the others until he literally used the "I am not left handed" phrase physically and got in a second burning finger...which he would've used to kill Sai had the emperor not ended the fight.
